UPDATE: We did it! We put him over the top for the nomination:
"In a month-long poll of MarketWatch readers, Mackey, who dropped out of college in 1977 after never taking a single business class, bested four rivals to win a spot among the finalists for the 2009 MarketWatch CEO of the Year Award. In the reader poll, Mackey edged out Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos by the slimmest of margins: 23 votes out of a total of 11,302 cast."

I wonder why he didn't win.
Especially after reading the article, what's there to complain about? And who even thinks about Smucker's, anyway? I wonder if they're being political.
