Daily Paul Peace Prize Update from Mrs. Paul
Back at the end of October, quiltingsando, on behalf the Daily Paul, awarded Ron Paul with the first ever Daily Paul Peace Prize, a beautiful quillow with the grassroots liberty symbol. I added a beautiful 1oz silver round that Pawnstorm12 sent me a few months back (thanks Pawnstorm!) and mailed it off to Dr. & Mrs. Paul. I emailed Dr. Paul with the thread, and told him to watch a the mail. He sent back a short note:
Michael, Many thanks for this honor, and for all that you do for the cause of Liberty. Ron
A week or so later, a card arrived from Mrs. Paul. First I checked with her if I could share it with the rest of the DP family, and she said it was fine.
It reads:
Dear Michael,
The “Quillow” Peace Prize arrived today and both Ron and I are thrilled to display it in our home. I sent a note to quiltingsando – thanks for adding her address on the package. I hate it when someone’s address gets lost and not thanked.
There are so many people working in the Cause for Liberty and we wish we could thank everyone.
Ron is staying very busy, speaking at every opportunity he can fit in the schedule.
Thanks many times over for all you do. We greatly appreciate your coverage of Rand’s race.

to Carol ! I actually hugged her once and it was a real hug. She had Gotten Ron to sign my shirt and I asked her to sign it too. (Initials actually) and she drew a heart under his initials and put her initials under the heart. I will always treasure it :)

I am just so grateful to have discovered Dr. Paul and the DP. I knew our country was headed in the wrong direction. I just thought our leaders were stupid but it is much more sinister for sure. I feel so bad, that I didn't figure things out sooner. Well, that red pill must be a no doze because I feel wide awake now. lol
