Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. President Barack Obama said he met his half-brother who resides in China during his first state visit to the country.

Mark Obama Ndesandjo and his wife met Obama on the evening of Nov. 16 for five minutes, the President said in an interview with CNN taped before he left Beijing for Seoul today, without saying what was discussed. The two men share a father.
