Ok, I understand but I think he could
have said it differently. I don't think calling them thugs helps because with out a trial we don't know if they or innocent or guilty yet. It would have been good that while he wanted to keep Guantanamo open, to keep them out of the states, he could also have STRESSED that TORTURE would be unacceptable. He is on display and every word muttered paints a picture. It is more important for him to sound intelligent and reasonable like his father than to sound tough. Just my two cents.

Still. Rand is the best we've got right now to get anybody remotely close to a non-interventionist in the US Senate.
