It was the efforts of the people here at DP that got him on this poll in the first place.
Also, this is a swing state poll and Missouri was the state polled.
Rest assured that between now and the 2012 primaries, those of us in Missouri will make sure this state goes for Ron Paul.

When will the people ever learn? Just the same thing over and over. I have tried but I can not understand the Sarah Palin thing. Nothing personal against her. Just don't even see how she was even govenor material. But you can say that about a lot of them. Some say John Mccain made her look good because he was so bad. I say in appearance only. Her ideas and policies are just as ugly.
RP has no chance of winning
Actually, I lied, there is a SLIGHT chance. If the audit goes through and the Fed is exposed, AND the media hails RP (unlikely) as the source of the audit, then he'll become a national hero and will win by a landslide.
However, regardless of the shape that the economy is in, RP will stand no chance in the election. He's far too damaged from the first run.
Our best bet is Rand Paul or Gary Johnson. Young guys with RP's ideas, and none of the bullets that RP had to take as a result of bringing the ideas of liberty and freedom back into the public.
Think of RP has Barry Goldwater, and the aforementioned two as our potential Reagans.
This is a realistic outlook, believe what you wish. Trust me, I'd like to be believing with you, but believing something to be true only makes you ignorant to reality when it contradicts your beliefs. Palin has a far larger following than RP, as does Romney and Huckabee.

-Media coverage of the audit and Paul's heroics? 5 min search:

-Damaged? He came out of the elections smelling like roses. On TV and print almost daily. Touted everywhere and sought after for his wisdom and unique perspective.
-Gary Johnson may be good but has no name recognition, just like Ron before the election. It will take another cycle to get him up to speed. Is he running for anything in 2010?
-Palin will pitter out. Romney and huckabee are cardboard as all get out. Obama will probably be begging to leave office, and Ron Paul will thrown into the oval office in 2012 on wave of overwhelming support, barring any health issues.

And let the Greatest Depression do its work - by 2012 there will be so much more financial damage wrought on the world by the current mob of power-hungry senseless zombies in power that the people will be snarling to throw the bums out.
And meanwhile Ron Paul has been saying all along that things will get worse because of this. by 2012 he will be the ONLY candidate with a fantastic provable track record of real economic knowledge - the media is already opening up to him because of this, just imagine how much more in-demand he will be by then!

Why are we (as Americans) so stupid? I know its obviously not inherent... Its taught by this television brainwashing (thats the best lesson I have ever learned from any Alex Jones film)... All of Obama's accomplishments and performances have some of the worst approval ratings of anybody in history, yet when asked if they "like Obama the person" they all say YES.... ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME?!?!?! How are we ever going to stop the tyranny if the American people elect a guy that every one agrees is destroying this country, just because he is sooo "cool"!!!!
