Doctor Lorna Stewart decided she wouldn't wait for Congress to take action and is treating patients who do not have medical insurance. Patients are asked to contribute what they can. NBC's Peter Alexander reports.

The "OIG"...
Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has and will continue to arrest and prosecute physicians who overcharge, (through fradulent insurance practices) or "undercharge", (treat patients for free). I fear for this doctors license and her future to practice medicine.
Big mistake going on NBC
He'll be busted for it..It's already happened where some bureacratic bull stop a free clinic in California because some of the donor doctors were from out of state. Not licensed in CA. The can go all over the world and practice but don't cross a state line.

Life was good before 1970 and incrementalism.
Doctors were affordable, even without insurance, and they were local.
There were things called "house calls" because holistic and home care comfort was better than "institionalization".
The banksters got in there with the buearucrats to begin the destruction of American citizen, making way for massive unabatted immigration and corporate feudalism. Obama is not the first "rape" the medical system.
And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”
Indeed that's the "healthcare" we need!
Rawfood, you REALLY get it! I experienced that same system of medicine myself years ago and its not the stuff of storybooks and ole geezers. Doctors were PLENTIFUL too so there was never a shortage as there is now because no one wants the aggravation.
The false arguments about what insurance company vs. another insurance company in what state vs. another state and what is and is not covered.....etc., etc., etc., must end. This nonsense of splitting hairs over every detail is driving me nuts because the answer, a simple one, is right under our nose!
The ONE answer to the healthcare fiasco....GET ALL THE MIDDLEMEN OUT!!!!!!!

True.
LBJ was responsible for beginning the destruction of it.
With his "communist society"..., er, uh, I meant "great society" programs.
There were no problems in healthcare before the gov't shoved their d*cks into it.
It was affordable and accessible, and in many cases no insurance was even needed to handle a family's medical care needs.
And a few short decades later, after the gov't got into it, it's a crisis.
Gee, I wonder how that happened?
Wow!!!!!!You got it.
Wow!!!!!!You got it.
