I just listened to my first audio book last week!

At first I couldn't pay attention as I was used to letting my mind wander while listening to music----but I scolded my self, and paid attention, and I loved listening then. I never take time at home to read--so this is perfect!

I highly recommend checking

I highly recommend checking out your local library. The one where I live has a broad selection including "The Revolution: A Manifesto", "Atlas Shrugged", "The Israel Lobby", "Economics in One Lesson", "Children of Jihad", "Sorrows of Empire" and many, many other titles about history, economics, politics as well as a bunch of non-fiction. A good reader can make a world of difference. They are awesome for long car rides... I've arrived at my destination after several hours of driving and just stayed in my car for awhile longer to finish up an interesting part I'm on.

And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”

"Indurance" is an incredible adventure, true story

Amazing what a human can survive.

Now, all we need is "edible.com"! for a free download.
For fun, I clicked on "edible.com" and found a site which features eating . . . well about anything.
It would take some getting used to these "delicacies" from around the world.
Thanks for the audio link.

Three Cups of Tea

I highly recommend "Three Cups of Tea." It is an incredible book about a man who has been building schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Everyone should read it.

I Agree!

If we followed his lead and spent money on schools in the region rather than bombs, our world would be a much different place!
