NYS has lowered the odds of winning on instant
lottery tickets by roughly 30%. I'm sure this source
of revenue has been considered by other entities.
From a NYS Trooper:
Police are targeting construction zones because
fines are doubled for infractions in those zones. Also,
one loses his license after 2 offenses and then must
pay a yearly surcharge to regain the license.

I'm in NY, but refuse to get
I'm in NY, but refuse to get a license. I've kept my AZ license which is good for 20 yrs at a time. LOL To get a NY license they run you through every database known to man and then some, and you have to give up all kinds of crazy personal info. You actually have to prove you are a citizen! Nope thanks, I'll stick with the arizona license where all they cared about was the info on the license itself.
