Let's just say Rand Paul, Peter Schiff, Adam Kokesh and R.J. Harris get voted in.

Rand Paul, Peter Schiff, Adam Kokesh and R.J. Harris get voted in. Can 4 make a difference?
Plus Ron Paul so that would be 5.

Could 5 people start changing a party?

I remember hearing this guy from the John Birch society saying all you need are 15 Ron Paul type's in congress. I don't quite understand. That doesn't seem like enough to me.

I'll be honest, I don't think they are our biggest hope. I think it's Ray McBerry. The States are who have the real power if they grow a backbone. I can also see how you only need 5 states to make a difference. 5 states could choke off revenues to the federal government and get others to follow. Even 1 state like Georgia would get Texas, Montana, and Utah to follow.

anyway, Could 5 people start changing a party?

Those 15 would make it easy for dozens of others to open up

A few is all that is needed to break the political culture that oppresses certain dialogue.

From there, many others will either expose their conservative opinions and many others will just go with the tide.

The real strength is on our side: the truth. Have a few who will not waver from the truth, and nothing else but the truth can survive.

thanks that makes sense. I

thanks that makes sense. I think Rand Paul is important but I think Peter Schiff is even more important for speaking out loudly.

One C4L candidate for each District

One Campaign for Liberty primary candidate for each Congressional District would go a long way in getting the message of Liberty out.

Dr. Paul has run twice for President in spite of the odds agaisnt him. Yet here we are here today, becasue he tried.

The First American Revolution was a Campaign of Lost Battles. Nathaniel Greene led the charge or should I say strategic retreats. Little hope is not hopeless.

If we are serious about Ron Paul for President in 2012 then we need to campaign get him elected Speaker of the House in 2010.

Is there any other hope for fiscal responsibility from our government in the next 3 years with out a fiscally responsible Speaker?

All for freedom? Freedom for all!

Free includes debt-free!

.

Thanks, for bringing this up. I think it can't hurt. If these gentleman all vote the same way, have lunch together you would see people wanting to get in on the discussions. I think these people will teach others and so on. It is ALSO, very important that the states develop a backbone and exert their rights and then we come to you and I . We must get involved locally if we want to start seeing changes. We must also teach our children well.

States choking off federal

States choking off federal revenue is a longer shot than a coalition of liberty candidates in DC. The day RP's amendment was passed was a terrific civics lesson in seniority, process, coalitions, etc. Even with just Rand and Schiff in the Senate, they could align together, reserve their right to vote for or against a bill, and in doing so, be courted by party leaders and horse-trade their votes for smaller liberty victories while getting widespread media coverage to preach the value of laissez faire economics, humble foreign policy, civil liberties, etc. The Blue Dogs have influence, the Congressional Black Caucus.

The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.

5 defenders of liberty

in office would be a hell of a lot more than we have now. RP cant do it all himself.
