The Louisiana Democratic Party, in a rather humorous and bold press release on Tuesday (11/24/2009), called for Senator David Vitter (R-La.) to denounce conservatives who have called his fellow Sen. Mary Landrieu (D) a prostitute for her support of health care reform.
Vitter, of course, has his own sordid history with ladies of the night. So the chance to tie him to recent claims from the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh that Landrieu was whoring out her health care vote was just too inviting to pass up.
Landrieu was able to secure $100 million in federal Medicaid subsidies for her state, ostensibly in exchange for agreeing to allow health care legislation to come to the floor of the Senate. Glennn Beck called the senator a "high-class prostitute ... She may be easy, but she ain't cheap." Well, someone should whisper in Beck's ears that his attitude is taking a serious toll on America.

Help me sort this out
Landrieu puts the rest of the country into debt for another $100 million dollars so she et al can boost Louisiana's (which at one time was the wealthiest state in America) hand-out gimme programs. All of this because she et al couldn't manage their state's financial affairs properly. So who is whoring whom in this very expensive cluster-f&*$(? Looks like we all got shafted even before she votes on the really big O shaft soon to come with the Death bill nee HealthCare bill.
We need more people speaking clearly as Beck has done.

Landrieu is a whore and Louisiana is the whore of
this country. I have the right to say this. I have lived here all my life. There is no politician to date from this concubine of Washington DC that is not a whore to the process. The people of this state are whores to the gimme attitude. The people that have nothing, don't want to work for anything and just want a hand out are the downfall of Louisiana. Why should we pay in $1.00 and get back $1.40 of the rest of this county's money. It must stop now!
Now I must tell you that I love my state for there is no place like it. The people are the most loving, compassionate and giving. The problem is just like every other state. The politicians and corporations. Thankfully, we have a growing liberty movement that in the end, hopefully will win out. I pray every day for people in my state to get a clue of wjhat we at the Daily Paul live by. Please don't write Louisiana off, just help keep your own money. If Louisiana cannot live on its own money then it must fail just like any individual should.

The only man better than myself in DC is Dr. Paul, and that is simply because I don't think I could hold to his level of integrity. I just don't have that kind of willpower, though I try.
