Weaker dollar serves some puposes

Higher stock market which gives the illusion of "recovery".

U.S. goods are cheaper for other countries - potentially boosting exports.

Reduces govt debt levels by way of devaluation.

Also, I believe the govt is actually embracing the higher gold prices. Regular folks are busy selling their gold jewlry for more cash, keeping them afloat for the time being.

The problems will arise when price of gas and food start soaring, which won't be long now.

The Feds PPT - Gold Supression Desk is going on Thanksgiving Holiday Early this year so they let the dollar fall today.

(For those that say the PPT does not exist - Something I noticed One Day...) One day in New York City there was a subway thing that caused a lot of peole to be late for work one day. The average was like 30 minutes late that day. On that day I noticed that the morning gold price push down started 30 minutes late. Coincidence
