Thought You Might Like Some of Our New Family Pics
by Matt Pyeatt
I thought it was time for DailyPaul to have some exclusive pictures that were just taken of my grandparents, my family, and Ron and his first great-grandson (my son Collin.)
Again, I want to thank Michael for creating this site because it has been a home base for all of us in getting the latest, greatest Ron Paul information. (Click read more to see more pictures)
My grandfather is home in Lake Jackson for a day before he heads out to South Carolina. Tonight, he is in Wharton, Texas which is in his Congressional District. Despite the increased media attention (not enough if you ask me) my grandfather never forgets the people of his district whom he has diligently represented since 1996!
This is my family. Some of you have seen and read my blogs that I have been posting for nearly a year now since the site began. My wife Kym and I are very proud of this little man. His name is Collin and he would love to be the first great-grandchild of a sitting president. (I am not sure if that will be the case, but I can only guess that he would be. Does anyone know if a sitting president has been a great-grandfather? Don't worry about my grandfather's age. He rides a bike 10 miles a day in the afternoon and walks two miles in the morning. Also, his mom and dad both lived a very healthy life into their 90s)
Vote for my grandfather, Ron Paul! My family is really proud and we know the American people are ready for a change.
These are my grandfather's girls. On the left is my Aunt Joy. She is an OB-GYN like my grandfather and she has five children like my mom, Lori, who is on the right side of the picture.
I thought this picture was awesome. Note the little cowboy boots. They are incredibly difficult to keep on an 11 month old, but I think they are neat. Collin decided he wasn't going to smile too much on that particular day but I promise he is usually in a great mood. As you can see from the picture, he is letting you know that his great-grandfather is running for president and that you should vote for Ron Paul.
This is Ron with several more of his grandchildren. Yes, this is Ron's Ford tractor that he bought brand new. It has been used on his farm for as long as I can remember. It was always fun to get to take a ride with "Grandaddy Ron" on his tractor. It still is!
This has been such an amazing ride for all of us. We are very excited to see that many people are realizing that there is a candidate out there who is not a "lesser of 6 evils."
I am very excited about the Tea Party '07. It would really be amazing to raise $10 million in one day. That would put us at over $20 million for the quarter.
This peaceful revolution cannot start and end with my grandfather's presidential campaign. People all across the country that believe in limited government and freedom should now step to the plate and elect officials (or run themselves) that will embrace this message. We can change this nation one congressman and senator at a time.
