Teaching plan: America 'an oppressive hellhole'

A program proposed at the University of Minnesota would result in required examinations of teacher candidates on "white privilege" as well as "remedial re-education" for those who hold the "wrong" views, according to the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education.

The organization, which promotes civil liberties on the campuses of America's colleges and universities, has dispatched a letter to University of Minnesota President Robert Bruininks asking him to intervene to prevent the adoption of policies proposed in his College of Education and Human Development.

"The university's general counsel should be asked to comment as soon as possible," said the letter from Adam Kissel, an officer with The FIRE. "If the Race, Culture, Class, and Gender Task Group achieves its stated goals, the result will be political and ideological screening of applicants, remedial re-education for those with the 'wrong' views and values, [and] withholding of degrees from those upon whom the university's political reeducation efforts proved ineffective."

By any "non-totalitarian" standards, he wrote, the the plans being made so far by the school are "severely unjust and impermissibly intrude into matters of individual conscience."

She might be right though

only in the sense that the Constitution is a security agreement that pledged the states as collateral-surety on the national debt. Then in the civil war, our first 70 year international bankruptcy term ran out and the north told the south they were going to pay by placing all southern property into a lien and using it to re-establish their credit on the open market. The south decided to cecede without paying the debt and the creditors started the war. Thus the states lost their sovereignty during the civil war. 70 years later 1929....the people lost their sovereignty because we defaulted on the debt again and all the gold/silver was taken and also people became "persons" or corporations in ALL CAPS and We the people lost our sovereignty-control then.

This is why Pelosi does not have to care. WE ARE UNDER ADMIRALTY LAW. We have contracted our rights away through birth certificates, marriage certificates, drivers liscences, etc...but most of all using "money" that really is not our property and always leaves us in debt when we use it. Whether it is our debt personally does not matter if all our property, our bodies and our children are pledged as collateral on the national debt of the United States. The same United States that has 30 different legal definitions in the US Code.

The UNITED STATES is completely different legally speaking than the united states of America.

They have stolen our history from us and we no longer know who we are.

I wonder if

this stuff and stuff like this will make it so people who can not get a job because they do not have letters behind their name. I wonder if it will make people start opening their own businesses, I would love to see a resurgence of small businesses in america.

Education colleges these days

are a sad joke. They have the poorest students, and the most arbitrary standards. Though this sounds particularly bad, most ed schools requirements are equally silly.

For example, you can not get a teaching certificate if you get busted for Pot, but it is OK if you are a petty thief.

THis all goes back to the accrediting agencies, that goes back to the rockefeller foundation around 1915.

"We can see with our eyes, hear with our ears and feel with our touch, but we understand with our hearts."

Remedial re-education sounds

Remedial re-education sounds like something out of the Soviet Union.

Just as there are many good reasons to homeschool kids...

...that's one more good reason to avoid mainstream universities.

"I believe the true significance of the Gold Commission is that the politicians and central bankers were so alarmed at such a thing that they made sure it was packed by an array of Keynesians and monetarists." (Ron Paul 1985)

And then there's this part: "The college even realizes that its efforts to impose such a severe ideological litmus test may be unconstitutional."

"You've got to be kidding."

Wasn't that Pelosi's opinion of the Constitution?

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

You're close. It was, "Are you serious?"

' When Asked Where the Constitution Authorizes Congress to Order Americans To Buy Health Insurance, Pelosi Says: 'Are You Serious?' '

"Are you kidding" was Steny Hoyer

They have such high principles.
