Nader to run against Schiff?

Just saw on CNN that Nader is considering Senate run in Conn against Dodd, which in turn would be against Schiff, right? Not good news, do you agree? |

If Schiff wins his primary,
then I want Nader in the race. He'll take more votes from Dodd than Schiff.

years ago?? Why wasn't Ralph challenging Dodd years ago? Why wasn't he challenging Liberman years ago? As much as I like ya Ralph, I'm 100% behind Schiff on this one. Run for Congress or something else!

nader should definitely run. all the progressive votes will be taken from dodd. and there would be an excellent debate between schiff, nader and dodd, if simmons doesn't win the republican primary.

but Nader is a nationwide rock star, will be able to get boatloads of $$. And that's often what it boils down to, isn't it? Nader already has a much bigger and established following than Schiff... but... he doesn't have the DP behind him!

Nader is someone who corporate MSM has been twisting and spinning his words for so long...
The ONLY party I ever joined was the Libertarian Party.. 1976, LP was NEW and I really thought, how exciting it was that it was my generation.
I was introduced to Nader in 1992. He is not what MSM likes to say he is anymore than Michael Moore knows what capitalism is.
Nader has never joined any party. He capitalizes on others ideas and in talking to him personally... I don't see him as a socialist.. I think, when it comes to keynesian economics, Nader has helped the little guy more than government, and I think he's open to Mises... but that's not what we have.. I think Michael hit the nail on the head, a one (schiff)/ 2 (Nader) knock out for Dodd... attacked on both sides.
And also... I've voted for Nader 4 times now. No regrets. It was interesting when GOP was funding Nader to "beat" Kerry.. Kerry had NO intention in winning, and neither did Nader. Nader ran because to count ballots YOU MUST BE ON THE BALLOT..
We can run around and scream about electronic voting all day, but unless you have someone on the ballot who wants to cahllange... Like Kerry... after the Democrats were screaming Y2K was a stolen election, Kerry conceeded to Bush les than 24 hours after the election and did ask to count ONE voting machine. Nader was not on the ballot in Ohio because of "dirty tricks", same kind of stuff you watched MSM and others do to hurt RP.
Nader gets in... It's over for Dodd... that's how it adds up to me. I don't see Nader winning. or even running to win... but running to get Dodd out.. Nader told me once he never wanted to be in government office. He got in because he saw it was going to hell. I have a Bill of Rights from Nader... he told me it would protect me from the US Constitution. ;))

Nader would run as a 3rd party, no doubt, not as a Republican.
That would be a good thing.

It will attract more debate, and actually do Schiff a favor if Nader gets in the game... as an Indy... I think that's great!

When I ran for county office I remember walking up to a table of cops at a restaurant (NOT a donut shop) and asked them if any of them were republicans (needed the signatures to get on the ballot) one was an independent, one dem and two non registered. All of them agreed that both parties suck. I agreed with them and encouraged them to ALL register independent. (independents in AZ can vote for either party in the primaries)

and amazingly, the news of his run is already there! :

Why does this Nader guy
always seem to show up in these type of races? He and Alan Keyes just seem to pop up, at the right time.
