WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. House of Representatives Financial Services Committee voted 31-27...
Representative Barney Frank, the Democratic chairman of the committee, has said he may seek compromise on the Fed audit provision of the bill when it comes to the House floor.
The provision was added last month as an amendment from Republican Representative Ron Paul to the overall systemic risk bill over the objections of Frank.
Frank said on Wednesday that he is hoping for a floor vote on the overall bill on December 9.
