Hope for the judicial system...

Anyone watch the Colbert Report on Wednesday night? I was highly impressed with the Dallas County D.A. Craig Watkins who is working towards making sure the justice systems delivers true justice. Mr. Watkins is checking on cases that through DNA evidence has provided the freedom to individuals incarcerated that were actually innocent, but convicted in the past from D.A.'s simply trying to convict whether guilty or not to close cases and further their own career as opposed to ensuring justice is truly being served. This gentleman is a true patriot and I for one now have hope that if more people are elected with his attitude, we can once again get our out of control and corrupt justice system back to its roots of providing justice as opposed to oppression to those that cannot afford to properly defend themselves.
