IDIOT!
Get off my TV!
New Hampshire and Ecuador.
one more thing
It should also be pointed out that he would have us believe that this out of control federal government would respect a constitutional amendment that would require the "value added tax" (MORE TAX)[!!!] to go only to pay down the deficit. Which is again misleading because the deficit is not the same as the national debt.
You'd think that for all of his anti-socialist talk, he'd be against this. He isn't because Glenn Beck is an opportunist.
At 23-28 seconds Mr Beck cynically admits the truth that he's manipulating his viewers which he has the utmost disdain. If you want to believe he's simply joking, then I invite you to go back to sleep.
He would have us believe that this government can be trusted with yet MORE money.
Let me repeat something: The deficit is not the national debt
This means that O'Reilly's scheme that Beck is adopting would do nothing to rebuild the nation because every year we have a deficit because spending is too high. That's to say nothing of the debt that continually accrues.
Beck wants to give the U.S. government more money and it would never, ever pay down what we as a nation, owe. So why? Because he's in with them.
All this would do is put more monies into another pot which would be spent on more pork projects.
glenn beck is a fraud
Good for the poster who knew Beck would turn.
First he demonized Ron Paul before and during the 2008 election, then he supposedly gave an apology(which I have never seen nor heard, so please show if you can) now he's acting just like the socialists that he's been railing against.
He's an actor first who cares about his ratings.
He'll sell you out in a heartbeat, and if you watch him closely, he mocks his own viewers.
I'm telling anyone that watches Beck to watch with a truckload of salt.
Aaaargh!
Aaaargh! I've paid income tax and SS tax all my life. Now that I am (probably) retired, the feds will do what they can to get what they can of my savings. A VAT would be perfect for them. I'm a baby boomer, and because there are so many of us, I lived in the taxers' crosshairs all my working life. Some of us managed to keep some of what we made anyway. The government wants that too.
How do you like your Mr. Beck now? I never trusted him for a second.
Let's use him to introduce us to liberty leaning people, and

then throw Beck off to the side.

It looks like Mr Beck is
It looks like Mr Beck is following in the footsteps of Mr Dobbs. He is doing a 180 degree turn, as many here predicted he would. Every time you give the Government more money, they spend more money. How about reudcing the spending to equal revenue and then subtract another 2% of spending to pay off the debt. Kudo's to everyone who predicted Beck would pull this crap. Now just wait until he starts sh*tting on Ron Paul.
OK, I was willing to stick up for him and give him a chance until he proves me wrong. Looks like that just happened.
