Webster Tarpley, 9/11 conspiracy proponant and expert on false flag government terrorism, offered a scathing critique of Congressman Ron Paul, free trade and Roosevelt "New deal" critics during a recent broadcast of his radio show.. Tarpley, author of several books including 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA, Barack H. Obama: The Unauthorized Biography, and George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography
began by discussing Obama's job summit and offering his own solutions, which would include nationalization and massive government programs.
In the second hour of the December 5, 2009 show World Crisis Radio, which can be heard in it's entirety here, Tarpley took issue with some of Ron Paul's statements to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.
"The federal government has no role in government and health? Sorry my constitution says general welfare. The general welfare clause. The constitution belongs to us. Don't cede the constitution to the austrians. Mcculloch vs Maryland and a national bank of the Hamiltonian type is constitutional...the great nationist John Marshall of Virginia...
"The new deal, the parts of it that survived are also a matter of settled law... so the idea of tampering with that stuff ...is a decidely radical and reactionary move."
"So remember, the problem with economic theory is we've got the leftists are dominated by british economics...Malthus, Keynes, and the rest of that... Marx.. British. On the other side we've got the Austrians and their deflationary theories. We want to go right down the middle.. The American system of political economy.
Governor Winthrop of Massachusetts; Benjamin Franklin. Alexander Hamilton... Abraham Lincoln, the populists.. Franklin D Roosevelt and the new deal and Kennedy. That's the American system; that's what built the United States, not this free market claptrap. and by the way, we're sick of free trade. We want to get some jobs? it's beginning to dawn on some people...10 per cent protective tarrif across the boards.. no more free trade. The Austrian critique of free trade is that its not free enough.
they want no regulation.... nothing to protect you... again the Austrian demand always comes down to 'let the full fury of the depression be visited on the naked flesh of the American people for the sake of the market and then mysteriously magically the invisible hand of the market will come along.'"
Tarpley then moves on to the anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day Dec 7th but focuses on a speech given December 11, 1941 "when Hitler declared war on the United States four days after Pearl Harbor". He then discusses 'The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany by William L. Shirer' and a speech given by Hitler which begins on page 897 of the book.
Tarpley continues, "The point that i want to make about this,... the critique of Franklin D.Roosevelt developed by Hitler is the same one you will hear from so many libertarians and so-called libertarian republicans today. And that is first of all that Franklin D. Roosevelt is responsible for the Japanese attack on the United States; thats what Hitler says, and that the new deal is a failure. a couple samples of this...
Tarpley continues to address Hitler's critque of the New Deal and how "many respected Americans" agreed with Hitler's view: "The big attack here is on the New Deal. Roosevelets new deal legislation was all wrong. .. he would have faced a criminal charge of delibarate waste of national wealth ... and would have faced a charge of criminal business methods...
There was a resistance in the United States by the Roosevelt haters, the pro nazis, the pro fascists. the new deal was spurious,... 'the world jewish conspiracy' the spurious nonsense of Hitler."

From page 897 of Shirer's book:
"Hitler's address on December 11 to the robots of the Reichstag in defense of his declaration of war on the United States was devoted mainly to hurling personal insults at Franklin D. Roosevelt, to charging that the President had provoked war in order to cover up the failures of the New Deal and to thundering that "this man alone", backed by the millionaires and the Jews, was "responsible for the Second World War."
Personally, I don't think that any of the belligerent powers were blameless.
"I believe the true significance of the Gold Commission is that the politicians and central bankers were so alarmed at such a thing that they made sure it was packed by an array of Keynesians and monetarists." (Ron Paul 1985)
Tarpley Shows His True Colors
It makes sense now, now that you watch his hands
It makes sense now, the first resistance on-hand
Send the dog to the left, a dog to the right
Herd the sheep off a cliff, or devour them at night
It makes sense now, now that I can see colors
It makes sense now, stampede over the others
Send an author to the left, an author to the right
Herd of humanimals owned, no patriots to fight
Dear Webster,
You are a traitor to liberty if you believe the murderers FDR, Lincoln, Hamilton, and suspicious King George loyalist Franklin. Made America what it is? Tell that to the Natives we killed to "build it." At what price is your humanity? Dr. Paul and Khan are not for sale. See you on the other side. Literally.

Bull,Hitlers man j. goebbels said on film he liked FDR's new
Deal !! Tarpley lies like his comrads
If Hitler said the New Deal was a failure...
...then that would be the first thing I've heard of that he ever got right. Nevertheless, Hitler and FDR were both fascists (corporatists), so one of them criticizing the other is about as significant as the Trotskyites bitching at the Maoists.

Tarpley's mistakes
All this shows is that Mr. Tarpley is capable (like most socialists) of being quite libertarian on issues having little to do with economic policy, private property, or taxation. When he talks about matters he knows little about, he sounds like a fool. It doesn't mean that his other ideas--such as American imperialism, 9-11 inside job monkey business, and police state terrorism on the part of the existing government ---are not worth listening to.
I think that most of the left is so corrupted by Obama and his Democrats that the future of dissent in America, if it is to have a future, belongs to libertarians, Constitutionalists, and Ron Paul supporters!

You people put way way too much "faith" and "trust"
in people.
Stop looking for "leaders" -- You will never have "self-rule" this way.
Take a moment and meditate on that last sentence.

Tarpley has his place but
Tarpley has his place but economics isn't his specialty. To give you an idea, I attended a lecture he gave a few years back at the Friends Meeting House in NH. That day was the beginning of the "truth squads", which then morphed into "We Are Change" when Luke etc took the idea and ran with it. The idea was his and a very good one as time would show. At the same meeting he started to say that the truth movement needed a presidential candidate to go out and start talking about things that needed saying, to which the crowd yelled, almost in unison, "Ron Paul". It was beautiful. This was months before he announced his candidacy. Tarpley lit into his "reactionary" economics and just tried to lambaste him. Most of the crowd laughed and it made Dr. Paul even more liked among the truther crowd in New England. We still listened to Tarpley's assessments of the geopolitical battlefield but we knew from that minute, if we didn't know already, that we shouldn't listen to him on economics.

History Isn't His Specialty Either.
Or logic. This comment re Hitler's speech is intellectually dishonest.

Re: socialist 911 truthers
Your comments re: tarpley remind me of the time I saw Bob Bowman speak at Alex Jones 2006 9/11 conference in L.A. Bowman is courageous on 9/11 and has the cajones to tell the truth; but then he got up there and starts saying that there should be a $20 or so minimum wage., etc. ha ha. that did not go over with the crowd and it nearly got out of hand. We don't need lockstep agreement, but just because someone speaks the truth about 9/11 does not mean they are a good liberty advocate. They are two different things.
Webster Tarpley
What a bloody idiot. He's written some good books and I'd still recommend them to people, but boy is he uneducated when it comes to history. That, or he has an agenda, so he's cotton-picking bits and pieces of information from history to build his socialist argument.
You're post is garbage
Tarpley's grasp on history is mind-blowing. I'm not saying he's right on everything, but let's keep this discussion real.
He has an agenda. So do we.
He has an agenda. So do we. He is pretty much a full blown socialist/communist, but the "good", well meaning, kind. One can never say a man who speaks 5+ languages and talks with Russian generals is uneducated about history.

effective propaganda
It's amazing how effective propaganda can be...for decades, for generations.
If you hear the name Hitler and automatically think "SATAN!!!" then you may be a victim of propaganda (British/Jewish/American).
It's heartening to learn from history that a substantial number of conservative Americans were originally opposed to the war against Germany...before the false flags and consequent propaganda.
Tarpley is very smart man
Of Course he's going to ruffle some Libertarian or die feathers around here, but the guy is almost always worth listening too, even in dis-agreement.

Wos, what an idiot
You cannot create wealth with tariffs any more than you can create wealth by hiring hooligans to smash out store windows. Sure, you can add a few window glazers but at a cost of every other profession.
If protectionism is so great and "employment" is such a desired end unto itself than lets ban ALL TRADE between anyone. Then each of us can toil 23 hours a day making our own food, clothes and fuel! Think of all the jobs we would have!
Secondly, anyone suggesting that the "general welfare" clause entitles one identity group to loot another should be rejected outright as a Marxist loon.

tarpley sounds very fearful
in his words. "dont you dare try to rock my gravy train! you nazis!"
...
what else is there to say, really? I doubt id be equipped with the patience to follow through this conversation with someone in person, i think i would have walked away at the point when he started crying about 'free market invisible hands' as if it were some form of black magic voodoo.
Tarpley
is an idiot.
Tarpley was the first man, that said Obama was a puppet
to Wall Street's Invesment Banking Pillars & I'll give him mucho credit for that. Hell, most of corporate media, never studies this.
Yeah, he said it
Because he was shilling for Hillary Clinton for president.

Tarpley shills for Hillary?
I agree.. I was listening to
I agree.. I was listening to him on Rense once and turned the idiot off.. he is a socialist... some things he agrees with us but on many things he does not...

FYI Nazi= National
FYI Nazi= National Socialist. It could be said that they were fascist, too.
Government is institutionalized insanity.
It just seems so obvious that government is incompetence and insanity masquerading as management. The result is disaster, and the more important is the issue they address, the more devastating is the effect on the population.
Just look at the strange case of global warming. First it is questionable that it even exists and if it does there is absolutely no proof that mankind is the cause. And the draconian proposals to fix this non existent problem will certainly cause massive human suffering as the burden of cap-and-trade and unnecessary costly controls fall on the shoulders of already economically suffering people.
Or look at war after war for what purpose nobody knows. Death and destruction in the name of giving the rest of the world "freedom". Are they nuts? Yes they are.
And the monetary system of creating money out of thin air and burdening the population with interest payments when this phony money is loaned out. Only a madman would impose such a system on his fellow citizens.
"The deepest sin against the human mind is to believe things without evidence." Thomas H. Huxley
Tarpley
while I respect him for his 9/11 work he is just wrong on so many other issues - socialism/collectivism does not work he should read von Mises and Animal Farm written by at that time an ex-socialist George Orwell.
