Comedy Central Takes On The Federal Reserve

I believe Colbert and Stewart are Ron Paul supporters.

Stephen Colbert on the FED. They are a Joke.

Jon Stewart's 9/18/07 interview with Greenspan is brilliant.

Stewart plays dumb like a fox and lets Greenspan hang himself. If you listen to the interview he gets Greenspan to admit when rates are lowered this favors the stock market at the expense of the average working American. It should be noted when Greenspan went to work for the HSBC he moved his investments out of the US dollar. This interview also explains why Greenspan used to move rates lower 30 minutes before option expiration to get a greater affect.Greenspan closing statement is "I have been in the forecasting business for 50 years and I am no better than when I started".

Great find, I never saw the

Great find, I never saw the Stewart/Greenspan piece. Forwarding it to friends because it frames the fallacy of the Fed so well: a regulatory group of economists trying to tamp down euphoria and alleviate fear, using the stock market as the barometer for those.

10-15 million more voters need to believe in non-interventionism (liberty) at home and abroad to change America. Minds changed on Syria. Minds changing on privacy. "Printing money" is part of the dialogue. Win minds through focus, strategy.

WTF, Colbert has Bernnie Sanders on and not Ron Paul ?

It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people that pay no price for being wrong.
