Ron Paul criticizes Obama on accepting award

As the U.S prepares to send more troops to the war in Afghanistan, Barack Obama’s in Norway to receive his Nobel Peace Prize, awarded in October. The Nobel Committee said it wanted to praise Obama’s efforts to strengthen diplomacy and co-operation between nations. But for many, the 44th U.S. president was a surprise choice. Republican Congressman Ron Paul says Obama’s recent war plans show he shouldn’t have been awarded the peace prize.

Bump

This awarding of a Nobel

This awarding of a Nobel Prize to Obama at all let alone a Peace Prize award should be an embarrassment to Obama himself. Is it not true that the deadline for Nobel nominees was the second week Obama was inaugurated??? Secondly, all Americans need to share in this embarrassment. He is acting out his war policies on behalf of Americans... but most embarrassingly, the mockery of the NOBEL Peace Award should go to the Nobel Committee in Stockholm. They have presented awards to puzzled recipients in the past but now one can only presume that they are politically motivated, bought and paid for. There is absolutely no credibility of purpose or achievement in presenting this award to President Obama. The world is in shock.
