I have been learning a lot from some that actually know what they are talking about,and have NOT learned from those who are self proclaimed experts on EVERYTHING.

Dunno what exactly you are basing your assertion on, but...
...as I told someone else (and I've told you this before also), if someone is being hokey, they sometimes have a way of revealing themselves.
(I'm sure you can think of a certain recent example where someone slipped in his own pile of poo and exposed himself.)
So let this play out.
Even if this is someone from the past, if they are trying to make a fresh start and they keep their nose clean, what's the harm?
We all have suspicions sometimes, but that does not always warrant insinuations or accusations.
On that note, regarding the certain recent example, you insulted me when I did not go about things like you thought I should have.
You know how I feel about the labeling and accusations. I chose to handle things differently. We sowed different seeds...and I think we both know which was more fruitful.

This forum can get off on some tangents but I have come to find out that this forum has some of the most intelligent, caring and free thinking people I have ever known.
You will find this out if you are ever in a situation that you do not know how to handle such as run-ins with the law, foreclosure, investing, traveling, cancer and other illnesses, farming, raising chickens, wanting to run for office, needing a place to stay for a freedom rally or even how to purify water or build your own generator...etc..etc.....
Everyone has something they can contribute to the freedome and liberty movement and I have a feeling you could play a big part in it as well.

Welcome! This can be a tough place...because it is about as free as it gets. Filled to the brim with free-thinking people. If anyone tried to herd this group...well...it would be like herding cats :P
The cats here have claws and teeth as well. It makes one tough though if they stick around and you can learn a lot...I know I do. Yes, it can get nasty here sometimes and snarky, but such are internet forums.

I'm sorry about your daughter. That (parent to a military person) is a scary place to be; I know from personal experience.

LOL, I have to laugh because
I thought I was the thread killer. I would post a comment and the whole thing would slid off the front. Then I started thinking well maybe what I said others agreed with and they didn't need to add anything. LOL The truth is probably people check in for a few minutes to see info and then go run errands. People are rushed, and likely don't feel like commenting unless it is something that presses a button or something they are knowledgeable. Take heart friends, it's nothing personal.

I don't know what went on with another post, and personally at this point I don't care. I hope you will take the time to read some old posts. If you go back to mine you may not like them, I am one of the very conservative libertarians here, and yes also ex-military. Anyway, welcome, and I hope you learn a lot. We all have one thing in common, we believe in Freedom, in Liberty, and the law of the land. I can't speak for everyone, but the majority of us want limited government, sound money, little to no government intrusion in our lives, and we also want our government to follow the Constitition of the United States, especially our Supreme court, Senate, and Congress, but more importantly the President.

a business man and have been a "died in the wool" Republican all my working life,it has very good to me "until" GW Jr.I have now become a "middle republican that feels there is still hope for the party if we clean house.
