what's with the hateful comments below?

For the last two years and a half years I've noticed Pat's blog prominently featuring Ron Paul's books along with:

Candidate's information .... um, listing info ... for only Ron Paul.

And he's featured many Ron Paul videos and wrote many articles supporting him. Look at his site links, if you question his allegiance!

Remember that he's a television commentator ... and has to be very careful about tipping his hand.

Pat the opportunist!?!

Pat - always the opportunist :)

The last one in as usual, in a manner which the haughty and proud use to gain the most attention coming last into a meeting... except in this case:

'Where have you been Pat... what was your last name?' Out of touch I would say, a Johnny-come-lately on this issue!

Welcome to the 21st century, where the freedom loving people of this land have been fighting the Fed-front for years! Especially the last two years, so thick in the smoke of battle that the news has been full of the smell of defeat for the FED!

Hello?

You say you just noticed? Methinks thou protesteth too late!

I challenge that you are tottering up to the CFR in your old age, seeking some R&R from those who control your future. Now you are again lending your rapidly disappearing name so late to a cause of such magnitude, that one can only suspect once again, that the opportunist in you has struck again.

Do not be so naive as to think we actually believe you support Dr. Paul, or really any of the greatest principles a nation could be built upon, and for which so many have given so much, for so little... except a peace of mind and conscience served well by their blood proven patriotism!

Be humble Pat, and acknowledge the Thomas Jefferson of our day, who has written, spoken, and acted more for liberty than you can hardly dream in a million nights.

He who should have been your teacher for these many years, unlike most other see-through bags of hot air which fill the podiums, magazines and air waves, has been a shining light to not only this root of grass, but to all the grassroots; to all this trembling nation... to all the world of freedom hopefuls who languish under such tyranny as shouts aloud to us the greatest of warnings!

Pat Buchanan needs to be forgotten

He had so many opportunities to come out publically for Ron Paul (on radio) but every time when asked who he liked for president he'd say "none of them"

On his blog and newsletter however he'd support Ron Paul.

He is a touch racist -- I could qualify this but I wont; let's just say I'm no longer a receiver of his newsletters because of it.

Racists are Communist or Socialist by nature.

So he's a touch communist or socialist -- he's a "tiny" corporatist in libertarian clothing.

I don't think he should be

I don't think he should be forgotten because he does have the respect of a lot of neo-cons. I think the fact that he was with Nixon makes him "cool" to them. I do agree that some of the focus on race and culture can be a bit much.

A good read. Pat needs to

A good read. Pat needs to say these things forcefully when the cameras roll on his punditry.

The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.
