At the 2:30 mark in the American Underdog video, the commentator refers to Ron Paul as "the Sanjaya of the candidates."

Right show, wrong contestant. Think about it...

He has grey hair that makes him look like someone's father (or grandfather, in Ron Paul's case).
He was written off from the start by many and not considered to be a serious contestant..
He sings an old tune, but it's one with timeless appeal (for Ron Paul, that's "Liberty!").
He refused to be phony and pretend to be someone or something he is not, even when people were telling him it would get him more votes.
He stayed true to himself and his message, people respected him for it, and in the end, it was he who came out on top.

Yes, my friends, you've guessed it. Ron Paul is, in fact, the "Taylor Hicks of the candidates."

I'm putting this on my list of favorites!!

at the beat of the drum at the very end, I weep.

I saw this video when it first came out, and have used it to spark interest in the Ron Paul Campaign with my friends and family.

When George S. says THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ... It makes me realize the evil that we are up against, and I weep because of how this brave man is putting his LIFE on the line to speak out about things that no one else will - but mostly I weep because of how Ron has brought so many of us together for the same cause. This goes so far beyond Women voting for Hillary or African Americans voting for Barack - Ron Paul's supporters are EVERYONE and EVERYBODY, and it's like being an American has a whole new meaning.

It's amazing. The more they ignore Ron Paul and the more they trivialize him, the more it motivates many to get up off their butt and do something to help.

I'm very grateful for the bad treatment. Without it, many would have sat back and done nothing.
