That flag represents the Esperanto community. Esperanto is a constructed language designed to facilitate international communication. It is easy to learn because the grammar is totally regular (e.g. no irregular verbs). In fact, there are only 16 rules of grammar for the entire language. Words are formed through a set of prefixes and suffixes and the combination of existing words.
Please research before writing falsely. Many of us love liberty and support limiting government globally.

Hey, I can understand most of this lunguage.
It is the first time I ever read in this lunguage. Sounds like a Latin based lunguage. I speak portuguese, but, to me, it sounds like Italian.
A lot of it comes from Latin
A lot of it comes from Latin (with some Slavic and Germanic words thrown in). When people speak it, it does tend to sound Italian. It is relatively easy to learn since it is entirely phonetic and there are no irregular verbs.

L. L. Zamenhof is known for inventing a constructed language designed for international communication known as Esperanto. According to Wikipedia, Esperanto is used by 100,000 and 2 million speakers for over a century and has 1,000 native speakers but was never adopted by a country as their official language.

There are some people upset with Google that they picked a logo for Zamenhof over a logo for the U.S. Bill of Rights, which went into effect 218 years ago, today

Are you injecting an interpretation?
Perhaps you were being coy - but I looked up the symbol of a green star and most of the searches came back as it being a symbol of "environmentalism". I'm not sure fascism/corporatism is equal. I am completely against the cap & trade stuff and the myth of CO2 warming - but we live in a fascist society already, so shouldn't the symbol be our own flag?

I thought the post insinuated that the green star flag was a "symbol" for fascism. I'm not saying that corporatism isn't a big part of the Global Warming nonsense. But, that is meaning we see a step or two below the initial symbol and intent. As posters below have pointed out, it is for this language guy - I hadn't gotten there yet, but I'll go to google and check it out. (I rarely if ever use google).

Corporate mono crop industrial farming is extincting all living things and creatures, including killing the soil.
