Or, what would a very wealthy person want?

If I awoke to billions, I think I'd want to buy huge tracts of wilderness, fund research on a cure for aging, develop personal space flight, construct a very deep survival shelter, and search for cryptozoological oddities (Bigfoot, Loch Ness, and hundreds of others). I'd probably also continue with my current hobby of seeking beetle species new to science. I'd set up a fund to push my political ideas and a PAC to donate to liberty candidates.

There are some parallels between what I'd do and what I think the ultra-rich are doing. David Rockefeller was a world beetle collector in his younger years, Bill Gates has contributed to a deep survival shelter -- for seeds, and George Soros and the Fords and Rockefellers have set up and funded all sorts of organizations to change or conserve the world, culture, or society.

I suspect that the ultra-rich are in dogged pursuit of some version of the Fountain of Youth and are building very deep shelters for themselves and their families so as to survive nuclear war, asteroidal impact, or a fierce cosmic ray bombardment. Some may be secretly building space vehicles. In fact, I tend to think that those at the very apex of power already have an aging cure and spaceships. No evidence, just a suspicion.

As for preserving large tracts of wilderness, I think the super-wealthy see little need to tie up their own money in million-acre land purchases, they just get government to steal it for them.

It started in 1999 with repealing and deregulating provisions of the glass steagal act.

That paved the way for the mortgage crisis.

There is a G8 coming this weekend in Northern Ontario where we have a cottage in Huntsville. I drove from Minnesota last August from Sault Ste. Marie to Huntsville and we witnessed just bizarre, weird, almost other planet like 'construction' going on just north of Hunstsville, Ontario.

The thing is why would there be any reason for such road construction using weird mammoth sized bull dozers and mammoth sized hauling trucks - 100s of them working in a frenzy - for what? EXPANSION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE was partly a failure.

Yes, the bankers did enlarge parts of the Federal Reserve ultimately at grave cost to them......restrictions on all of their financial bonafieds, agreements with other banks, beneficiaries, and a full scale Audit of the hideous insides of the Fed.

Therefore as powerful as these dictatorial bankers act now, so far they have not gotten ONE SINGLE thing they wanted in their scheme to take control of the world.....

The population is NOT THAT stupid anymore.....they watch the bankers and their nazi games like a "HAWK". The central bankers are INCAPABLE of making their plans come true!

Thus I fully believe the Global Government currency will in turn, be a total failure and the Fed will crash and die.

Not without cost to our side......Patriots will fall in making sure the Global Fed crashes and burns.

But the central bankers, for the first time....I say they will all fall. All of their plans will UTTERLY FAIL and they will be exposed as frauds whom the people reject......With enough rejection they will not get back up!

Only thing is, Ron Paul needs to draw a line in the sand. These vile criminals will take down the US dollar to nothing before they die out.

Emerson: You appear to be correct about each fact in the above article - according to my understanding of the plan to "end" the American dollar and the Federal Reserve before the end of January 2010 - and to replace them with a global currency and a World Bank in Switzerland - owned/controlled by Rothschild and the international banking cartel.
When the dollar dies the populace will be "begging" for a solution.
