Senator Judd Gregg really said this!

Sen. Judd Gregg (R., N.H.), among the Fed's fiercest defenders on Capitol Hill, has vowed to fight the audit legislation. He noted that the measure has not attracted the level of support in the Senate that it has in the House, where two-thirds of lawmakers co-sponsored the provision.

House lawmakers who support broader auditing of the Fed are engaging in "rampant pandering populism," Mr. Gregg said. "I don't think the Senate is at that point. I think there's a much more logical and thoughtful approach over here. And people recognize that having Congress involved in monetary policy is a disastrous idea."

This was in the Wall Street Journal.

"And the people recognize that having congress involved in monetary policy is a bad idea".
I wonder what else described in the Constitution would be a disastrous idea?
What an uneducated moron!

Judd Greg utters an occasional conservative word

but it's a calculated act. He's a New World Order guy through and through. Don't forget, he was the Senate ramrod for the first bailout under Bush.

I was a proxy speaker for Kate Alexander, the Libertarian Candidate running against him in 1992 and as I approached the podium he jumped to the mic right in front of me for one last retort to the Democrat. I wish I had had presence of mind enough to excoriate him for having the horrible manners of a spoiled rich kid. You never know what little incident could be a pivotal point in a politician's survival. We might not have had to suffer his presence in Washington today.

Let's ask him where he's planning on moving once the audit happens because the masses will be so irrate with the bankers and those who defended their circus, they will want to head for the hills for safety. My guess is somewhere dominated by banking like the Cayman Islands or Switzerland?

Swiss won't want him....they have the IBC.

(International Bank of Credit) And the IBC is now run by a straight shooter who called for Israel to be prosecuted for war crimes.

So the Swiss won't want anything to do with him, they will turn him over to the mobs. The Swiss IBC decided to crack down on corruption.

puffed up p#@#k

I guess he means "we the people..." is just mere populism???

New Hampshire elected this guy!???

It's time for Concord New Hampshire to send Senator Gregg home for life.

He's a clear cut tool for the Federal Reserve, representing a freedom loving state. That does not mix....no that does not mix at all

What a Bastard Child

It would be a disaster for him if congress was involved in monetary policy. Where else would he get his filthy lucre?
