Apparently, according to US CODE, TITLE 13 > CHAPTER 7 > SUBCHAPTER II > § 221

(a) Whoever, being over eighteen years of age, refuses or willfully neglects, when requested by the Secretary, or by any other authorized officer or employee of the Department of Commerce or bureau or agency thereof acting under the instructions of the Secretary or authorized officer, to answer, to the best of his knowledge, any of the questions on any schedule submitted to him in connection with any census or survey provided for by subchapters I, II, IV, and V of chapter 5 of this title, applying to himself or to the family to which he belongs or is related, or to the farm or farms of which he or his family is the occupant, shall be fined not more than $100.
(b) Whoever, when answering questions described in subsection (a) of this section, and under the conditions or circumstances described in such subsection, willfully gives any answer that is false, shall be fined not more than $500.
(c) Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, no person shall be compelled to disclose information relative to his religious beliefs or to membership in a religious body. s described in subsection (a) of this section, and under the conditions or circumstances described in such subsection, willfully gives any answer that is false, shall be fined not more than $500. Don't know how I'm going to approach the un-constitutional aspects of the census yet. But it looks like if you simply leave some information blank, the worst that can happen is a $100 fine/money grab.

I will fill out the number of people in the household and draw a big X over the rest of it.

Or perhaps I'll run off a bit of Thomas Paine and mail that back with the first page and shred the rest of it!

workers come by,Initial search for possible housholds,
level one supervisor,level two supervisor,level three supervisor,
and then two district supervisors.All preaching how Obama
is going to "help" our little community.(one of these district
supervisors I can swear I saw on a TV spot about acorn)
Now keep in mind this little "community" has five households
and a population of 12 total.
Why so many people to check on 12,They were kind of like
"Obama witnesses" with no respect of private property rights.

I think this stuff is voluntary.. owning a business and a farm I get this crap from them all the time. They have called me and I said, this is voluntary correct? they say yes and I say well I'm not volunteering.. The only thing you have to answer is how many people live at the adress where you rcide.. that is all they will get from me. period.

They just started hiring for my county... looks like they'll come a knockin sometime soon at my house.
