President Obama has threatened Congress with the unelected bureaucracy in the EPA taking “command and control” over our carbon emissions. Governor Schwarzenegger has already superceded his legislature outlawing too large TV sets. Throwing away rules of our country is nothing new to our overseers.
President Bush overrode the congressional mandate to wage war with Iraq. He also created the largest bureaucracy in the Department of Homeland Security for our supposed safety. This multibillion dollar bureaucracy is so inept it is unable to stop two crash gaters but demands you relinquish your toothpaste before travelling.
Congress is not immune to denying common sense. Senators admitted ten times as many calls opposed to the Wall Street bailout then blithely voted our money away. Our Congress’s disastrous actions are still unfolding with exploding unemployment and plummeting real estate sales.
Indictments against the WHO for pushing dangerous vaccines in return for millions during the swine flu debacle has not stopped our overseers from threatening mandatory vaccinations or made them learn from the 1976 incident.
Our local unelected officials will also lie straight to our faces. After campaigning on not raising taxes Jack Whalen and Mario Civera raised our county taxes by 7.5% instead of a furlough like Chester County has done. Mario Civera even redacted his promise of leaving his state Representative job for his new part time County Council Job.
Government lies are systemic. Climategate revealed biased scientists and our government still pushes for their carbon taxing agenda. The insurance companies are the only ones bailed out from Obama’s healthcare bill yet it’s still pushed for Christmas passage. When our overseers couldn’t strangle the internet by Congressional law they’ve directed FCC to enact Net Neutrality rules.
Our overseers are using bureaucracies and lies to roll over common sense. I hope enough people want to push back.
