3/5 stars it feels more like a car commercial...
I'd say it sort of throws off the viewer by including images of Ron Paul and his supporters amongst other candidates towards the beginning, if those other candidates are supposed to be the metaphor/comparison to limits on freedom and potential. Also, it should be updated to showing candidates for 2012...
In addition, while I like the concept of basing the ad around the idea of a foreshortening of our freedoms and potential, I think most people are going to think the use of people having to wear ties/have jobs is a bit ridiculous of an example of that- regardless of whether or not it's true. And considering a sizable bloc of voters are most concerned about having a job, depicting people going to work/having a job as a bad thing might not be the message we want to send.
Otherwise the concept and overall presentation make it feel much more like a car commercial (the music, the overall feel/the type of language, etc.) than a promotion for the cause of liberty/Ron Paul's campaign.
While it's produced well, I don't think that's the intention, or the strongest way of going about it.
What needs to be made are "MADE FOR TV COMMERCIALS"
This one has a good feel to it, (less the neocon clips though) and it talks to the subconscious vs the conscious mind.
Both types of commercials need to be made both ones that appeal to the intellect/conscious mind, and those that just linger in the back of your mind.
Regardless of which are made , they should be :30-2:00

The narration is fantastic. I wouldn't change it one bit.
But I agree that the neocons need to go. There are lots of good ideas below on what to replace them with.

I say..show someone putting on a motorcycle helmet, show a "Free speech zone", show cops beating civilians..show Monsanto GMO cornfields and cops busting an Organic Food store..show real stuff where we are not free. Then show a pic of that baby and RP from 2008 (I still have a copy) and end with your sign.

I don't know about giving all of those neocons that much face time though... I might have been inclined to not show any politicians until the end, and flash all of the neocons across the screen very fast (including Obama & Hillary) before settling on a nice shot of Dr. Paul. Still a great idea though and a nice start.

From :30 to :40 shots of republican candidates like Gilmore, Huck and Romney? With the VO timing seems like a commercial for the GOP there.
The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.
