Does anyone have a link to the actual decision by the Supreme Court? I would like to read it for myself.

Anyone who disagrees with these tyrants has not been considered a person for decades. The only concerning part about it is that they're finally getting the guts to say it openly, and in law.

that has come about in a long time. It'll take a while for the "first they came for the ..." cycle to incubate, but it will. It doesn't take much to set off the witch-hunt/better him than me mentality once people realize anyone they know can disappear.

What would you expect from these people? They have contempt for our Constitution, and contempt for us. Our Constitution puts the burden on proof on the state. Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty - unless Obama declares them a suspected enemy combatant. Then, they are presumed guilty, and torture is legal!

Since the Congress has refused to declare war, how can anyone be considered an enemy combatant? I am not splitting hairs here, I am pointing out that we are not at war. What we have are criminal suspects - people accused of crimes. Since we are not at war, Congress refuses to declare war, we are dealing with people who are accused to various crimes.

I am not for one minute defending these people. If they are guilty, they need to be punished or executed. But the law says that they are entitled to an open public trial. Allowing politicians who refuse to obey the law to proclaim or declare someone an enemy combatant, legal or otherwise, puts us all in jeopardy.

What if he decides that anyone who opposes his health care takeover is an "enemy combatant" or a "terrorist"? Americans need to decide if we are going to have Constitutional government or rule by a Furher. Do we follow the Supreme Law of the Land, or do we take our marching orders from him?
