Does Charlie Sheen's arrest make 9-11 truth look worse?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering what your thoughts are about Charlie Sheen's arrest for domestic violence. I know many of you love Charlie Sheen for bringing some attention to 9-11 truth.
Do you still think his contributions have been valuable, or do you think that, overall, the 9-11 truth movement might have been better off without representation by a shady character like Sheen? I just saw his 20 Minutes with the President piece referenced in a list of Sheen's crimes, mistakes, and failures.

I think the argument that "we have to do whatever it takes to get the truth out" definitely has a tendency to backfire.

I've often paused over the wisdom of these parallel strategies that God gave Solomon when it came to the subject of dealing with fools.
First of all, a fool is someone we are told to avoid bringing ourselves down to the same level as.
The second, describes a kind of mirroring that offers the fool a chance to see that you "get" the game of their folly, and are therefore not morally compelled to "play" along.
I believe from what I've read above, and far too many posts below, that a lot of time has been wasted on trying to make fools wise when they clearly don't want to be.
Dr. Paul is a stellar example of wise dealings an arena that would otherwise confound and frustrate many of us who don't understand how certain core-beliefs work out on that world stage.
The last thing I want to add here is the definition of last word in the proverbs above, "conceit", written in the first American dictionary, Noah Websters' 1828:

1. Conception; that which is conceived, imagined, or formed in the mind; idea; thought; image.
In laughing there ever precedeth a conceit of somewhat ridiculous, and therefore it is proper to man.

You repeatedly use silly arguments like "I dont have to agree with him on everything", "This is freedom of speech", "I support him because he is honest", "I have supported other Republicans like Peter Schiff, B J Lawson" (basically that is only because they agree with Ron Paul, so that is plain LIE to suggest that you support OTHER Republicans). You are using Ron Paul's name to promote your agenda.

Having questions about some things in the report
is not what is meant by being a "Truther."
A Truther is someone who believes that the the U.S. government was intentionally complicit in bringing the WTC buildings down. To them, that's the "truth." And they trying to get that "truth" to be revealed.

was an inside job, they take themselves and others who believe that seriously.

I don't know.
That's the whole point. A one time I thought I did. Then I began searching for information that I thought was correct, information that was generally accepted by most people and found after an objective look, I'm more puzzled the deeper I look into it.
It may be that a 757 hit the Pentagon...I just haven't seen the evidence.
I will say that from my experience of examining what I believed for years and then challenging that belief, I have a different understanding of possibilities. You see I'm pragmatic enough to understand that just because I believe something doesn't necessarily make it true. My journey thus far has led me to believe it is highly possible a rogue element within our government had prior knowledge to these events. It's even possible they had a hand in the operation.
I don't know why that should be so shocking really. We sit and watch what they do to this country through the corruption of their respective political machines. If I can get past the ingrained meme that my government could never perpetrate such actions a host of possibilities open up.

I was wondering to what extent truthers cared about Sheens' failings, as the media will have a field day linking his mental instability to his political ideas and others who subscribe to the same ideas.
As for me, I never had much faith in Charlie Sheen, nor the media, but I made this thread because I figured some people might have cared to discuss the fact that Sheen is not turning out to be an ideal poster boy for the truth movement.

A recent article, titled in my subject line, opens with: "Brooke Mueller has lawyered up in case prosecutors decide to charge her with making a false police report, TMZ has learned."

All my earlier comments dealt with how much people were willing to believe who they were inclined to trust without really knowing the facts. There is a lot we still don't know and might never know about what happen that night in Aspen.
What we do know is that many people are easily lead by their prejudices to believe the worst of certain people in circumstances like these, when the facts might not support them.
Likewise, many of us fail to judge rightly when we are tempted to believe better of our government than they deserve about 9/11 truth and its consequences.

How likely is it, though
that ALL these women in Sheen's past have been telling the same stories, if they aren't true? Wasn't Sheen actually caught on tape threatening to kill Denise Richards? And he SHOT one of his girlfriends "by accident."
It's not that we WANT to believe the worst, but facts are facts. It doesn't look good for Sheen.
