Will liberty candidate, John Dennis, upset Nancy Pelosi in 2010?

Could be a more competitive race than people think.

He might if he galvanizes the antiwar, anti-Fed voters

I offered him a free video ad about 4 months ago. John said he'd "get back to me," but I haven't heard from him.

I wish, but it won't happen

That district simply isn't competitive. Pelosi could die after committing an armed robbery the week before the election and she'd still win. The voters there should just secede and form some pinko commune.

But, the movement

supported Ron Paul, even though he wasn't all that competitive at the time.

I like this video

I like this video of John Dennis on Freedom Watch. He sounds like a smart up-beat individual. He can also sell the San Francisco citizens gay-rights and an anti-war message. It would help move the Republican party toward the "center" on social issues on the traditional "left-right paradigm".

John Dennis has 5,370 pledges for his money bomb on Jan 7. Is there any way we can get that up to 10,000. Even 5,000 is a lot. If the average donation was $25 with 5,000 people donating, then he would have $134,250. That would be a small start at least.

According to Opensecrets.org, Nanci Pelosi raised $2,856,945 for her 2008 congressional election. Half of that was raised from PACs and the other half from individual contributions. Her Republican opponent only raised $720,921. Her Independant opponent only raised $636,493. Pelosi won the election with 72% of the vote. The Republican only got 9%. And even though the Independent raised the least money, she still managed to squeeze out 17% of the vote.

John Dennis has a theoretical shot of winning. But he would need an insane amount of money. He would need about $3.5 million.

In the 2008 elections, of all the winning candidates for US Congressional offices, the average amount of money raised was $1,472,258. So Pelosi raised about twice the average.

So if we need John Dennis to win, then we need to commit some serious financial resources. He probably won't even get into the debates until he has at least $1.5 million.

***Update***
Here at the top 5 industries that fund Nancy Pelosi:

Health Professionals
Lawyers/Law Firms
Securities & Investment
Building Trade Unions
Misc Finance

Combined they raised $360,550. Over half of that was from PACs.

As you can see above, FREEDOM IS NOT FREE! If we wanna fight the big dogs, then we need to start cranking out some serious cash.

If

No way

He doesn't have a prayer.

All things are possible!

And there is always a prayer! (But I will admit that, In God's Providence, that we often play a part in the outcome, so pray as if it all depends on God, and work as if it depends on you!)

Here is a crazy idea....

There is a "Democrat" running against Nancy Pelosi. It's a LaRouche activist named Summer Shields, LOL. http://www.larouchepac.com/node/12705

We could left-flank Pelosi with this LaRouche fascist who is fed up with Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi. This can drain Nancy Pelosi's money and energy early in the Democratic Primary.

At the sametime, moneybomb John Dennis' campaign aggressively so he can beat his primary opponent Dana Walsh (http://www.danawalshforcongress.com/). After that, he will have at least a decent shot at beating Nancy Pelosi in the General Election because her resources would be drained in her primary against the LaRouche activist. The LaRouche activist would at least help convince San Francisco citizen that Pelosi is not a "true liberal".

This is an insane idea. Feel free to insult me....

PS: Check out this fascist economic proposal by the LaRouche PAC. It's so far to the left that even Nancy Peolosi would be like, "What the f*&^?"
