I remember a time of this site when real RP supporters would use the Daily Paul to organize and ACT. Where is the boycott of CNN's advertisers. Where are the op eds about Ben "The Neo-Con" Stein? Where is the REAL defense of Ron Paul? |

Maybe its not about shutting down anyone who sees things askew.
Maybe its more important to wake up high profile people.
Maybe its about adding to our numbers by transforming an enemy into an ally.
Maybe its not about ACORN type, collectivist, shakedowns of commercial enterprises in order to shut someone up.
When is the last time you saw Stein attempt to write an explanation of a misunderstanding?

I think Ben Stein isn't so important
He didn't even succeed in what he tried to do. Ended up looking like a fool. I can think of more important things to focus on. Like waking people up, which I'm gonna go do now at another forum. Have a good day folks, catch up with you guys later :-)

There is a difference between defending and being thin-skinned. As RP continues to grow in popularity, he will attract more and more attacks from people, many not worth the response. We are in the arena now, bigger battles to fight.
The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.

You can check out the Facebook page "Win Ben Stein's Apology" that was put up just over a day ago and has around a thousand friends already. Do a google search of Ben Stein Anti-semite and you will see rallying cries everywhere.
If anything this makes it so neo-cons and war-mongers will think twice before ever pulling this card on the Dr again.

As far as boycotting CNN - I do because I don't watch cable or satellite. Screw Ben Stein.
