Solidarność - The Solidarity Thread

We forget.

We forget what brought us together in the first place.

We've fallen to in-fighting and squabbling amongst ourselves. We're 'off-topic' more than we are on.

REVOLUTION! FREEDOM! LIBERTY! It is an all consuming fire! These things didn't vanish after the election! They don't go away. The fire still burns in all of us or else we would have moved on after the humiliation of being overtly ignored.

If we would only focus our power, what a force we could be! Imagine a grassroots confederacy like this staying together for so long. How? Why? The answer is that we still believe! Just like the kid in "The Polar Express" (which I'm sure someone will tell me is about communism or "white guilt") we are still together because we still believe in something!

We believe in the freedom of the individual. We believe in restricting the power of the government. We believe in simple things like keeping the fruits of our labor and not being beholden to anyone for anything. We've seen the corruption of our government and are ashamed of them. We believe in peace. Not the bastardized definition of 'peace' currently being forced on us where thousands must die and billions must be spent and empires must spread in order that 'peace' be maintained.

Peace needs no maintenance. War must be maintained.

Solidarity should be the new buzz-word going forward. It worked for Lech Walesa. Together we can not fail.
