Alexa Data says Ron Paul 2008 Website traffic quintupled

This news is from a fan who noticed that web traffic to the Ron Paul site tripled after the debate, while visits to other GOP candidate sites dropped precipitously.

Although the Paul site has only been operational since March, the recent volume closely approaches the highest visit counts to the Giuliani and McCain websites and is currently five times higher than the major candidates.

36% increase. No other candidate got that kind of bump.

Website data

Ron Paul's website team should install http://www.google.com/analytics/

It FREE and most of all AWESOME. It can narrow down who goes to the site by CITY AND STATE!!

It's real easy to install. All you do is add the Google analytics script before the tag in the website, example:

<.P>
blah blah blah....

< script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
<./script>
< script type="text/javascript">
_uacct = "UA-XXXXXXX-X";
urchinTracker();
<./script>

<./body>
<./html >

PS: I added a period so the html will show above.

vs Obama

I plugged Obama to see what the difference was between the Dem's #1 and our #1.

http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?site0=ronp...

What was most interesting was, how Obama dropped too and at the end of the graph they are equal! RON PAUL FOR GOD!

Yeah, the official site

Yeah, the official site needs a facelift when they get the chance. Maybe a nice soft baby blue background or something with a cool refreshing appearance. JMO

good ideas vs. good design

I was just doing the same comparison on alexa when I switched over here and saw your post. It really is amazing considering the state of the RonPaul2008 website. Just goes to show that good ideas beat good design any day.

Website

I don't think his design is that bad....his success sort of crept up on them and they ended up being swamped.

rant to MSM and info

ABC removed comments of 1000s of Ron Paul supporters at http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Story?id=3147940
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/ABC_Deletes_Posts_Criticiz...

Nice going ABC, no doubt you lost $1000s and $1000s of income, because alot of those people will not use your products/services whereas otherwise they would have.

So MSMs check this:

Ron Paul is now the TOP SEARCH on technorati.com which tracks 71 million blogs. None of the other contenders are in the top 10.

Furthermore, according to Alexa, GLOBAL percentages of people who visited sites of presidential candidates yesterday:

ronpaul2008.com 0.005%

MSM media darlings ("1st tier candidates") follow:
barackobama.com 0.0045%
hillaryclinton.com 0.0025%
johnedwards.com 0.0025%
mittromney.com 0.0015%
joinrudy2008.com N/A (outside of top 100k sites)
johnmccain.com N/A (outside of top 100k sites)

Enough said.

So is Ron Paul a 2nd/3rd/whatever tier candidate MSM mmm?

He is a first rate candidate GLOBALLY ON THE INTERNET, do you NOT GET IT???!?

You would do the american people a huge favour if you covered Ron Paul already.
