"Where liberty is, there is my country." -Benjamin Franklin

Ron Paul animations.....

Serious question guys.... my time is limited, and I feel the clock is ticking. Should I go after Romney more or throw some Santorum in? I'm just trying to help in any way I can...

How about a huge Ron Paul playlist :)

All select vids and 'ok' to like
Please suggest on quality improvement for this playlist, i'd appreciate as I have good traffic to it recently

also RonPaulFlix.com is good

"We cannot vote for people based on the color of their skin."

I've been concerned that the minority population, because of the media's skewed portrayal of R.P., isn't paying enough attention to his actual positions on issues that effect them. I made this video regarding the War on Drugs in order to help spread the message that he is the only republican candidate that truly understands racial inequality in the justice system. Please pass it along:

Ron Paul, 2012!!!

If you want to understand the corruption in the GOP

which has plagued the party for years, watch All the President's Men.

If you'd rather a good book, I would highly recommend "The Brethren", a well researched account of the inner workings of the Supreme Court. 1966-75 It's powerful reading. By Bob Woodward. One of my favorite books.

On the tubes I'd recommend Human Race Get Off Your Knees by David Icke.

If you are looking to type a random name into a search engine and learn things that might stay with you, try "Terence Mckenna"

Have fun!

On January 30-31, 2012 over 100 county sheriffs and peace officers, from over 30 states, united to uphold their oaths of office, protect citizen liberty, and stop state and federal tyranny. Inspired and led by the example of former Graham County Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack, the meeting, which was held in Las Vegas, was funded by the generous donations of thousands of Americans from all fifty states, as well as the support of freedom loving sponsors.

The agenda included training on the Bill of Rights, Interposition, Nullification and the importance of Property Rights versus Privileges. Many sheriffs, a police chief and even a county commissioner shared their experiences, challenges and actions taken to uphold their oaths of office, directly with the sheriffs in attendance.

The videos of these presentations are shared here on the County Sheriff Project YouTube channel. We hope that you will share these videos with your own county sheriff and all the oath takers in your county. To read the meeting agenda, see the event sponsors, learn more and show your own support for helping back more constitutional county sheriffs, visit:

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

1995 RP Interview on Commodity Backed Currency

A University of New Mexico student studying for his masters in business interviews Ron Paul on sound money for his economics class. This relaxed interview is in 1995 and took place in what looks like Ron's congressional office in Texas. The interview consists of four parts with each part approximately 10 minute long.

The student opened the interview citing Ron's book The Ron Paul Money Book and asked Ron to introduce himself and briefly discuss his background for entering politics.

Ron gets to the familiar refrain, that his wife Carol was concerned about him winning election, but that he assured her he wouldn't because he wanted to slash the budget. (Carol wins again.) Fairly soon into part one Ron goes into the relationship between the welfare and warefare states and how they are created.

Near the end of the first part, the young man asks Ron why he, Ron, wants a gold standard and what this standard's significance is. As is the case, Ron said it's not so much that he desired gold to back the dollar but that the dollar have backing. Additionally, he said he prefered there be competing currencies.

This interview is a thorough rundown of RP's explanation of a commodity backed dollar. Although this interview is standard faire for the RP student, the student will enjoy it no less than any other interview or discourse Ron gives on monetary policy and just might walk away from it having learned something. The student interviewer was studied and his questions showed it, but there's no doubt he learned a thing or two.

"Take Shelter" A new movie on

"Take Shelter"

A new movie on DVD/On-Demand. It's about a guy who begins losing his mind with dreams about a coming storm that's a danger to him and his family. I just finished watching it and honestly it's the best movie I've seen in awhile. I watched it with my mom and we were both glued too it. It's suspenseful and creepy.

War on Computing (SOPA is just the warmup)

Cory Doctorow: The coming war on general computation

Cory Doctorow talks about the upcoming threats to liberty Ron Paul might talk about if Ron Paul were much more knowledgeable about technology.

The talk is about:
1. How the common denominator of SOPA and other such laws is an ignorant attempt to limit general purpose computing and networks (by people who don't have any idea what "turing complete" means).
2. How things are going to get much worse. Currently it's only the entertainment industry that is pushing for these laws. But soon, it will be many large industries, e.g., trying to prevent us from using 3D printers to print off objects they have IP rights on, or the government trying to prevent us from printing off illegal gun parts (full-auto conversion kits).
3. The danger that all computing platforms will be locked down so only government-approved software can be run. (Say bye bye to open source and any pretense of privacy.)

"Manda Bala," "Better This World" and "The Pruitt-Igoe Myth"

If you like documentaries, I have a few to recommend.

1. "Manda Bala" or "Send a Bullet"
An amazing story of politics, economics, and kidnapping in Brazil.

These next two you will have to hunt down or wait until they come out on Netflix because they are still on the film festival circuit. But they are both well worth watching if you get the opportunity.

2. "Better This World"
A riveting documentary about what happens to two young men who attend the protests outside the 2008 republican convention and are arrested on terrorism charges by the FBI. It came out in 2011 and politically, it's right up our alley.

You can reserve it on Netflix here:

3. "The Pruitt-Igoe Myth"
Examines the national urban renewal program of the 1950s and 1960s, which prompted the process of mass suburbanization and abandonment of the inner cities. Sounds boring, but totally fascinating and well done:

Jesus Christ Superstar

"My mind is clearer now....."

You can't get clean in a dirty bathtub.

Yes - this one: Life is Easy!

I just posted it on a separate thread - sooooo worth watching IMHO:

Tedx talk!

If you have Netflix, watch

"How Beer Saved the World" It reveals that beer was used as money during the time of the Pharaohs, and how beer has driven many other innovations, including refrigeration. Very interesting.

For good music combined with political overtones, see
"Shut Up and Sing", the story of the Dixie Chicks and the blowback they received for making an off-the-cuff remark about G.W. Bush.

Another good one...
The Light Bulb Conspiracy: The Story of Planned Obsolescence
(the secret mechanism at the heart of our consumer society)

This interview with Kay Griggs is a MUST WATCH!!

She exposes the sexual abuse most top leaders go through in fraternities. Doing things such as "going in the coffin" where interesting acts take place.

She goes into the military industrial complex's covert killings, and how secret societies, such as Cap and Gown at Princton are used to blackmail future leaders:

OMG! I'm about halfway thru watching

and already it's just unbelievable! What a brave woman.

Pretty awesome 8 hours of

Pretty awesome 8 hours of interview huh?

Brave woman!

After viewing this my only HOPE for this country is a miracle from God and a little help from Ron Paul.

Trust me...this is comically relevent:

What is thorium and what makes it special?

Thorium is a naturally-occuring mineral that holds large amounts of releasable nuclear energy, similar to uranium. This nuclear energy can be released in a special nuclear reactor designed to use thorium. Thorium is special because it is easier to extract this energy completely than uranium due to some of the chemical and nuclear properties of thorium.

I'm listening to this one right now

The Joe Rogan Experience with Bruce Lipton PHD and Brian Redban

if you don't mind Joe's F-bombs this one is pretty interesting. I always liked Bruce, he makes some great points.

They talk about humanity, Ron Paul, Tyranny, and so on.

I commented that "I wish Michael would have a spot on DP so that we could post our favorite docu's" and then went up to post thank you to the poster and guess who it is??

Thank you Michael! My son told me to turn off the tube and start watching documentaries and I feel like a kid again! Can't get enough of seeing the truth and getting answers to questions that I have wondered about for decades. It's like putting a HUGE puzzle together and finding one piece after another to make it whole. I book marked this post so that I come back and find more to watch.

Thank you! I am soooo glad I found Daily Paul 5 years ago.

Just Finished This One

Human Resources covers several different topics and a must see. I am now, very much into documentaries. Dr Paul has really feed my need to educate myself about the real history and issues surrounding this country and the entire world. At 62, I've learned more about the truth in two months than in 50 years of propaganda in the media. I wish that Michael would have a spot on DP so that we could list some of our favorites. I remember when he used to post "Weekend Watching". I loved that!

Enjoy http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/human-resources/

Great website

for docs. Could spend the rest of your life watching with all that's available here.

I haven't even finished my first page of HULU selections. Now I find them on Facebook, DP etc. So many to chose from, so little time

Ron Paul fan video for you to watch on youtube - 5 minutes

You might have seen some of the many "Anonymous" videos on the web. This video is a parody of the group "Anonymous" that calls themselves "RONonymous" and they support Dr. Paul. The language and format of this video speaks to the Anonymous and Occupy demographic about Dr. Paul in a format that is common to those groups. This is a parody of the thousands of "Anonymous" videos that can be found at youtube and is meant as a light hearted way to introduce the youth who embrace these groups to some of the common ground that they share with the policies of Dr. Paul.

Pink Ribbons, Inc.

“We used to march in the streets; now we run for a cure.” Barbara Ehrenreich, author and social critic.

Breast cancer has become the poster child of corporate cause-related marketing campaigns. Countless women and men walk, bike, climb and shop for the cure. Each year, millions of dollars are raised in the name of breast cancer, but where does this money go and what does it actually achieve?

PINK RIBBONS, INC. is a feature documentary that shows how the devastating reality of breast cancer, which marketing experts have labeled a “dream cause,” has been hijacked by a shiny, pink story of success.

The film recently celebrated its World Premiere at TIFF, where it was named one of the TOP 10 Films.
