Ross Abraham's fundraiser for Mitt Romney today
If you care, someone told me the campaign would call Ross in about a week to tell him how well they all did today. I suggested to him that they implement some kind of real-time counter on the Romney site so their fundraising might have a little momentum to it. Romney's campaign isn't built that way, so they didn't do anything to facilitate its grassroots support. At last count, I believe they had something like 2,400 pledges going into it; at $30 a piece. They probably got somewhere around what they expected based on those numbers. In short, I don't believe it will make the news.
The best part was reading all the names of the folks
who pledged and their comments. I think they finally took it down.

Funny thing about his website
Of the many things I LOVE about Romney's website are that he starts out by presuming you don't have the ability to think for yourself, so he has already convinced you to donate $30 dollars, cause if you don't, you're stealing $10 from the economy, the military, and the family.
My second, and most favorite gem is where the website claims:
"If Ron Paul's or Mike Huckabee's online fundraisers are any indication, we can expect 2 to 3 times this many donations"
Surely he underestimates the power of a good message. Let's see how close to $12M he raises! (our $4M x 3) - And they haven't even seen the www.teaparty07.com numbers!

I just got done watching a great show on the history channel
about Pearl Harbor. The whole show was about how it is now known that FDR had information about the attack that he did not relay to the naval officers at Pearl.

Yes, and many people think it's impossible for our government to have known about 911 or possibly be part of it. Not saying they were or did, but one must always keep their eyes open and consider all possiblilities. Did anyone know just how corrupt the media was until this campaign?

From now on, I refuse to call Willard Milton Romney "Mitt." His name is Willard Milton Romney. I think we should show him some respect and only refer to him as Willard Milton Romney. And you're right, why should I or anyone donate to his campaign when he's already given it multi-millions. I'm not going to help him buy the presidency.
