CNN-Ron Paul takes aim at Cheney
January 5th, 2010 | From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney

(CNN) – Dick Cheney is taking criticism from at least one member of his own party over the former vice president's recent and persistent criticisms of the Obama administration's handling of national security issues.

Ron Paul, the Texas congressman and upstart 2008 presidential candidate, told CNN's Larry King Monday night Cheney is in no place to criticize Obama's handling of the war on terrorism.

"I think he had his eight years, and he's caused a lot of trouble for our country and perpetuated a war in Iraq unnecessary and wrong-headed," said Paul. "I would say it would be best he not be so critical right now."

Paul was a constant critic of the Iraq war during his presidential run. While he is currently not seeking a higher office, his son, Rand, is seeking the Republican nomination for Senate in Kentucky.

Paul's comments come several days after Cheney released a tough-worded statement criticizing the president's response to the attempted terrorist attack on Christmas Day.

Hilarious

Dont know if this is sarcastic or not but it is from the comments on this article. He does a great job defining a Republican:

"Jeff jackson, alabama January 5th, 2010 11:47 am ET
I have to call you out on this one
C.N.N.
You say Ron Paul takes aim at one of
his own. NO....NO.....NO......Ron Paul
is a staunch Libertarian riding around
in Republican clothing.
This Guy is further out there than the good
libs of America. He doesn't even believe
in a federal income tax.....of any kind.
Don't equate him with Republicans please."

Geithner and Paulson arrested

Chris Story, who used to work with Margaret Thatcher and who's been investigating the globalists for decades, reports that Geithner and Paulson were arrested before Christmas, Geithner is now e-tagged and Paulson is under UK jurisdiction in Bermuda.

Also, Hillary Clinton's aides were arrested - to do with purloining sovereign funds - during COP13, which caused it to fail.

Kissinger is thought to be dead or incarcerated.

Story reckons the globalists are running out of time and that Interpol is after them - which is why they were granted such sweeping powers in the US, under such fanfare.

Sounds utterly insane, doesn't it? But the facts fit together so well.... You decide.

Read his story here. It's long, but it's riveting!

Please let me know what you think. It seems on the level to me.

It's a completely fake story!

I just LOVED all the comments on the CNN page. We swamped 'em, and almost all the comments were positive.

It is on the site

What...a dick

Come on Dicky, explain again how watching the jet approach the Pentagon and giving no order to intercept was "fighting terrorism".

I will never be able to make amends to my country for voting for you ....twice... but I'm going to try.

Twice?

My friend, you were neoCONNED. Man...

Obama same as Cheney

Ron Paul says Cheney has no place to criticize Obama’s handling of the war on terror because Obama is doing the same thing. Obama is wrong-headed and perpetuating an unnecessary war – same as Cheney. Cheney should be proud of Obama escalating the war on terror. Obama’s handling of the war on terror is creating new recruits in the Muslim population that will not forgive our country for killing Allah fearing women and children. No, Ron Paul knows there is not a whole lot of change between Obama’s and Cheney’s war on terror. I sincerely hope Obama does not get his full eight years to cause a lot more trouble for our country. Ron Paul criticizing Republican Dick Cheney is also in reality a direct hit on Democrat Barack Obama.

GOD BLESS RON PAUL

Cheney is the no#1 terrorist in the World.

Dude is brilliant & a master manipulator, but lost his heart.

Beginning of the end for Cheney and the neocons

There's nothing Cheney can do to ingraciate himself with the American people. Even those who agree with him don't like him. Ron Paul did what no Obama operative has been able to do, polically slay the "Cheney dragon."

I Think Not Until Glenn Beck Is Exposed For The Hack That He

is and those fake misguided flag waving idiotic pro war against "terrorism" republicans get bitch slapped with historical facts until they really wake up to how they are being used.

I agree!

Our man

Ron has had two birds aimed dead at Dick Cheney for a long time.

He is not just now taking aim. Funny how they make the headline read like he is defending Obama.

Ron Paul tells Cheney to back off Obama THE HILL

Ron Paul tells Cheney to back off Obama
By Eric Zimmermann - 01/05/10 11:01 AM ET

Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) took a shot at Dick Cheney last night, saying the former Vice President wasn't in any position to be criticizing President Obama.

"Well, I think he had his eight years and he's caused a lot of trouble for our country and he perpetuated a war in Iraq that was unnecessary and wrong-headed," Paul said of Cheney on CNN's Larry King Live. "So I would say that it would be best he not be so critical right now."

Paul was quick to add that he doesn't necessarily support Obama's policy, which he sees as a continuation from the last administraiton.

"'They'--they are going to attack us and they've declared war against us. And it's always 'they' and 'them.' But -- but who are they?"

Did you take notice,

that instead of "Ron Paul", the article is actually headed with "Paul" only? Doesn't this show that the "Paul" brand is becoming so strong, that you don't need to include his forename for people to understand who you are talking about?

It is beautiful. What a lovely smile. It is like, "nah-nah-nah, Cheney! You ain't so big after all."

Like the kid telling the emperor he's butt stark naked!

The media

told us over and over, that Ron Paul has virtually no charisma, and now they put a picture up that kind of proves the opposite? I mean, what's going on here?
