Of course, the public does not choose LP candidates. Those candidates are chosen by party members at convention (upholding their Constitutional right to freedom of association -- after all, how would you like it if you formed your own party to certain principles, and then the public got to choose who your candidates were?).

This is great news. We have to break the death grip the establishment has on TV debate. This opens the door just a crack, but our foot is in the door and that's exciting.
I protested outside KERA during the 2008 elections when they excluded the Libertarian candidate from the Senate debate. There were about fifty of us. Maybe the protest worked.
