Glenn Beck, Rex Rammell and the prophecy of Joseph Smith..
I ran across this article on "The Idaho Statesman" tonight. It's an article discussing their 2010 Governors race and GOP Candidate Rex Rammell. Suddenly, I totally understood Glenn Beck, his motivations, his philosophy, and why he missed Dr. Paul's message in 2007.
Now, I won't be the 1st one to cry for Glenn Beck and the hardships of his Media Career. However, I do believe Mr. Beck when he provides witness to his own "Breaking Point". According to Mr. Beck's testimony, this is the time when he found the LDS Church. Having discovered a relationship with God through the LDS Church, he repaired his life with his wife and family. His professional career has taken off and circled Mercury.
Could it be that, Glenn Beck is motivated by the prophecy of Joseph Smith and this is the reason for the disconnect with Dr. Paul during the 2007 GOP primaries??? I think so. See what GOP Idaho Governor Candidate Rex Rammell has to say about Joseph Smith's Prophecy and the Constitution. Remember, if Obama can spend 20 years in Jeremiah Wright's Church, What has Glenn Beck learned at his????

Ill admit it..... I watch
Ill admit it..... I watch Beck.. I watch him on a website where I chat with other Republicans from all over the country.. My first thought was that I would call him on his bullshit.. But for the last couple of months, this man has been directly aligned with 99% of my thinking.. I do not agree in starting wars to prevent wars, but other than that point, I have found myself disagreeing with him less. Is this some sort of mind control??? Regardless, he is waking up the right and pushing them our way... My fear.. That he will be discredited and accused of pedophilia or something to discredit the movement.. Friends close.. Enemies closer.
"Truth is treason in the empire of lies"......
Glenn Beck might of repaired his own home and is strong in his
Church -- but he is the ABSOLUTE Anti-Thesis to Ron Paul.
99% of RP's arguments are against the Connection between The Fed and Foreign Policy.
Glenn Beck favors The War on Terror, yes he's "softened" his approach to this support, but he supports it 100%.
I heard him the other day say he wants to defeat the Terrorists on their on Turf; his caveat is that once we perceive the threat we "go in to win and get out."
Wow! Really Glenn? What's a "win" -- if you can define it then you are smarter than Ron Paul because he's been looking for a definition of "win" in these un-declared un-constitutional Fed Bank Wars since the 70's.
Glenn you are a Genius, you should of got the People's Choice Award! You're beautiful babe!
*&^ Constitution --- Constitutional Rationality
I don't really know what to
think about Glenn Beck.
Glenn Beck
probably hasn't learned much. His mind is already made up. He is a zionist.
wouldn't he be all about romney?
you'd think. maybe he will put away his gloves and take out his MITTs soon...
Maybe...
....Maybe Glenn Beck really is one who turned over a new leaf, and is no longer working for the globalists since he finally found the message of truth which really is anti-new world order and anti-zionist.
You see the LDS religion is a very powerful and popular church because of the depth they see from. Inside their very book of mormon, it finishes the story of the bible by actually telling you certain governments of the world rise to form a new world order.
They say that this "new world order" government is formed by the corrupt elements of each nation, whom forms a bond with Israel, even though she has turned wicked and disregarded the son of God.
Then inside this scripture, it is claimed in immaculate detail how the true Jerusalem lies within the Children of Israel - not the "nation state" of Israel and the message given is that each of the tribes end up repenting during these latter days so that New Jerusalem can be found.
People of the LDS church who have studied beyond the Bible, understand that Abraham's vision of a "New Jerusalem" was about a city that was very different from the state of Israel or Jerusalem city. It was an entity existing outside of it, whom Brigham Young also describes later on in Doctrine & Covenants.
Thus the Book of Mormon, not the Holy Bible; fills in the holes for who and what Zion actually is and explains why Israel grows wicked in the latter days. It is due to a prophecy of "New Jerusalem" which is not in Middle East.
Now many people interpret this as superstition, but the problem is, everyone who has read the Book of Mormon...including scientists, have not been able to disprove what is written. They reluctantly concede that it must be God's own writing. It completes the entire story that the Bible left out.
This leads to modern Mormons who study the scriptures being righteous, and more spiritually adept than others as they have backing from God to be anti-zionist. They are anti-zionist not because of mere reaction or desire to take sides, but literally due to the words of Christ that they live by.
That makes the Mormons one of the most unusual religions. There is a conviction in our beliefs that is not backed by believing, it is backed by the spiritual word of God. We know it is true not because of being taught, but due to the feeling of the Holy Ghost who lets any person know that the word he/she reading is the truth.
It is one of the earliest religions known which under no form of coaxing, confirms the word of God through the spirit one feels and not through man-made answers.
Early Mormon pioneers who supported the Indians also supported Masonry, as it allowed them to teach other people about how to cultivate the land without occupying it militarily. This included the Middle East long before there was Israel or Saudi Arabia, back when the whole land mass was known as Palestine. Joseph Smith was a part of this movement to teach the saints about God's creatures, and at an early age he was said to be one of the most wonderful Masons.
As word spread about the blessings of the Gospel and various prophets left and led people into Jerusalem, certain senior figures began speaking about the reality of a New Jerusalem and a new Zion that was awaiting them. One of these men was Brigham Young. The members of the Union Army however, were hateful of the prophet Joseph Smith and his message from God that included creatures of the earth, Indians, Phillistines and early Palestinians. Within the scriptures it was said these men wanted to take over the land by military force, rather than allow it the privilege of flourishing as God intended.
The British later moved in to occupy Palestine and attempted to turn it into a colony of separate Jews and Arabs. However that lasted only until the Muslims ruled and then there was peace. Not long before this Joseph Smith was murdered in Carthage prison by the same men who saw his messages as sacrilege. He gave up his life to the Gospel. As the British continued to take over the Middle East, this was not enough for the royal bloods however. They actually wanted all of the land to themselves for religious reasons, and that is when Lord Balfour handed over those lands to the Oligarch ridden Zionist movement of modern Europe. All of them had the same goals...turn Palestine into their personal colony. Britain may have been kinder than Israel, yet all throughout history the results remained the same.
Long after these events transpired, the Mormon Church still passed on the message of new Zion. Throughout all the studies done by the LDS ancestry center, there were stories and rumors about this New Jerusalem. My great grandfather was a Mason and member of the LDS church, where he strongly believed in the same thing Joseph Smith translated. Some believe New Jerusalem is in America. Nevertheless the story still continues even to this day.
The only way Glenn Beck could have had an epiphany then, is if he strongly devoted his time to reading the scriptures and became LDS. They do have the rest of the story and are the only church to support both Israeli citizens and Palestinian refugees with humane relief efforts as well as medical aid. They are the only church standing today, which refuses to give military aid or support to either Israel or Palestine. Their belief follows that of the early saints. Only the people deserve our many blessings and financial relief efforts, not the governments. In the latter days, it was written with scripture that Israel would fall into darkness and mankind could do nothing to interfere as each nation turned against. At that point the antichrist may or may not appear on the hilltop, until God's people are baptized. Glenn Beck would have to be a humble man indeed to ever accept this idea rather than what the media teaches him.
It is not what makes the Mormon people unusual that they do the unorthodox. Rather it is what makes them special and very kind, as for the most part they only try to live by the Book of Mormon. I state undeniably what is written inside is only the truth, and that is why the Latter Day Saints stand tall as anti-zionists for non-intervention.
hmm
That's a very loose interpretation and assertion of lds history, doctrine and prophecy. Generally correct , but speculative and spurious throughout. It's food for thought and research no doubt, but a little suspect. I'm not sure where or how you came up with these assertions but it's more your personal beliefs and conclusions than the church's official stance or that of its members. Interesting none the less.
Must Disagree
The KJV BIble says that Christ (God) created all things, including Satan. Mormons claim that Satan and Jesus are brothers. So, not both the Bible (KJV) and Mormon theology agree. One is correct and one false. The angel Moroni gave false info to Joseph Smith, if in fact Mr. Smith didn't make it up.
"As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed"
Galatians 1:9 KJV
The other "gospel" is the Book of Mormon, etc. The True Gospel is the KJV Bible.
I don't expect Mormons to agree. This is not scientifically discerned but spiritually discerned. Everyone needs to truly seek the Truth.

Well I usually try not to get
Well I usually try not to get into theological debates however you contradict yourself. The KJV Bible distinguishes God from Christ as his son. So if God created "all things" then he must have created Satan and Christ or even himself for that matter. So I could see how they could be construed to be brothers.
It also says Christ was the first of many brethren and I asked someone once who they thought those brethren spoken of were and they said the Angels. So I said well isn't Satan a fallen angel? Just something to think about.

Disagree if you will, but your premise is fallacious
Yes, certain interpretations of the (KJV) Bible don't agree with Mormon theology. The Mormon interpretation of the (KJV) Bible agrees perfectly with their doctrine. If you understood it correctly you would see that clearly, but I can understand how from an outside perspective and belief system it would seem contradictory, it is not.
Also the Gospel isn't a book, nor a collection of books, it is the Word of God as conveyed by the Holy Ghost to God's holy prophets and apostles, and also to your very heart. You'll receive as much of it as you will allow.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this. I've got some studying to do.
I am not
I am not a scholar of the LDS faith. I am good friends with many LDS. What I have come to believe is that faith in the revelations of Joseph Smith are either real or not real. It depends on whether you have that faith. The church rises or falls on that notion. If you don't believe his revelations are divinely inspired then the church and all of its teachings are suspect. If you are among the "faithful," then you will be satisfied with much of the information presented.
I hope the LDS do become outspoken on the issue of freedom and Constitutional law. I wish my church would as well. It is time the faithful of this nation protect the Bill of Rights before they are not allowed to practice religion of any type.
