The Fix - Chris Dodd to step aside
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/thefix/senate/chris-dodd-to...

Good News Bad News
Its good news that Dodd is out of the race. Its bad news because the Dems want to run Blumenthal. Its good news because many people in Connecticut believe Blumenthal to be unbeatable (he runs up 2-1 and 3-1 victories in state wide races) Simmons and McMahon may drop out because they don't want to lose so Peter might get the nomination. Its bad news because he'll lose badly to Blumenthal and for years Rinos will tell Ron Paul Republicans to be quiet "We tried it your way and we got crushed. Don't you remember Peter Schiff." Its good new because I predicted someone not in the race on New Year's day would be the new senator from Connecticut. I'm 1 step closer to $100. :-)
The next 24 hours is crucial to us
We need to hit up the websites all over when they report on Dodd, especially the local CT newspapers' websites, and load up the comment sections with information about Peter so we can get his name out there and make people realize he is the real choice for CT.
This is big news in CT. Dodd has been in power for decades. Everyone will read an article about him tomorrow, so we must get Peter's name out there. Let's do this!
Maybe someone could post a
Maybe someone could post a list of links to related articles that allow comments. If that was done it would be a lot easier and more convenient for everyone here who wants to help with your idea.

Royal Bank of Scotland? Credit Suisse?
Dodd served his paymasters well. I'm sure they're going to make him far richer as a lobbyist than he was as a senator on the take.

It's my understanding the Senators can keep any unspent
campaign funds if they retire, so it becomes his personal money.
As proven on Open Secrets, Dodd was writing financial reform?
When he's in the pocket of every Federal Reserve bank?
I don't think so. That is so corrupt and disgusting, I can not imagine ANYONE would stand to have this guy leading the Senate unless they fully trust his friends in Bank of America such as Henry Paulson!
Schiff will need to get prepared with the hard facts so we can win this challenge, and he will need to tell the people that war in Iran could be possible while dealing with these corrupt banks. (Just so he gets elected.)
I can't imagine what his retirement home is going to look like
Sheesh!
it ain't here
he bought an estate in Ireland with some of his "funny money".....like so many others....a refuge out of this country
Peter's arguments fit in
Peter's arguments fit in perfectly well with Dodd's mistakes. Oh boy, this could be trouble for us..
This is horrible news for
This is horrible news for Peter. If he gets to the general election he won't be running against an idiot anymore.
There are plenty more
where Dodd came from.
Where you tossing me a softball? That was too easy.
Defend Liberty!
Not to worry, he will
CRUSH anyone in a debate.
Another Rat jumps the sinking ship
Nice to see them go but they still need to be held accountable for their crimes.

It's good to know the Federal Reserve's man Dodd...
Is gone from the Senate.
He would have blocked any and all accountability we can muster to hold the Federal unconstiutional Reserve to the letter of the law.
DODD had to go. Schiff must get in, and we must have the Audit and further action!
Good Riddance!!!
to AIG Dodd

Dorgan, and now Dodd
Great news for Peter Schiff, but we need to find a Libertarian to run in North Dakota. There has to be one there somewhere among the 700,000.
Also, Ritter in Colorado gov.
Also, Ritter in Colorado gov. race. Is there a trend developing here? Maybe clue on seats we should hit hard?
Trust in God, but tie your camel tight.

CHEERS
To an arch establishment corporatist being exposed and being forced to step down from a position of power. Hopefully Schiff can catch some magic in a bottle and get the bid, I notice the Post does not want to include him in the field in their report. Whatever. This move is another piece of evidence that the establishment cronies are being rapidly exposed.

Yes, I realize that but am looking for any encouragement these days and one more traitor down makes me smile. Peter Schiff will still have a tough contest, no doubt.
