Constitutionalists and Christians have much in common! By joining forces they could quickly regain control of the U.S.!

There is no doubt that Christianity and individual liberty were the primary philosophies that formed this nation and its constitution.

With 76% percent, or 228 million Americans claiming to be Christians, both movements would do well to recognize the overwhelming, unprecedented and unstoppable political power that would result if these natural allies would once again join forces.

I say it's not just coincidence that Mr. Liberty himself is a Christian. Without uttering a word, what an example this man can set!

Debra Medina is bringing these groups together in Texas

Lets follow her example!

You have a whole lot of Christians to wake up

Before that happens. The tv preachers have done a good brainwashing job.
"We have to to fight Israel's wars. God damns any nation that will oppose His chosen people." Nevermind it is against the law to be a Chistian in Israel.
Good luck.

not true

"Nevermind it is against the law to be a Chistian in Israel."...this statement is not true Messianic Jews are legal citizens in Israel by the "Law of Return" now, if their father was Jewish (before it was only if their mother was Jewish)-

2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Not ~Exactly~ true.

Are you now going to say that Christianity is not persecuted in Israel?

Looking forward to a response... :)

Ron Pauls FULL Quote

* Just clarifying your tag with the FULL quote *

"I see no reason that our friendship with Israel cannot continue. I favor extending to Israel the same friendship that Jefferson and the Founding Fathers urged us to offer to all nations. But that also means no special privileges like foreign aid – a position I maintain vis-à-vis all other countries as well. That means I also favor discontinuing foreign aid to governments that are actual or potential enemies of Israel, which taken together receive much more American aid than Israel does."

Does that law matter...

if Israel is quite fine with stoning people attending mass, burning bibles and actively persecuting Christians?

C'mon.. it's so bad there that they AVOID USING THE PLUS ( + ) SYMBOL because it resembles the cross.. instead they use the half-plus symbol.

Hypocracy much?

Valid Questions that deserve an answer...

Your average Israeli is against this sort of behavior, and will stand against it when they hear of it or see it. The main people involved in the type of behavior you describe are the more hypocritical of the Ultra-Orthodox types who would also throw rocks at ambulances if they were running on the Sabbath.

Just the fact that they are allowing the Messianics and the Christians in the country as an official policy is worlds away from the policies that most other nations in the Middle East have as an official policy. Most of the other nations have as their official policy extreme persecution of religious minorities.

average Israelis are as mute as average Americans--

and nothing for liberty is being accomplished 'over there'--

they are in bondage to the ideologues who favor burning and looting Islamic peoples--

the only ones who speak out are the Jews against Zionism--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

1988vote~There are more speaking out!

I had a whole list of them will try to find again. There are, in Israeli, many groups Students, even former IDF against occupation and others...they are just suppressed in the media there. Here are some Christian groups in the US for Peace:
**********
We are the official website of the Institute for the Study of Christian Zionism which is a group of pastors, academics, students, interested laypersons and a Rabbi who have been disturbed by the growing influence of Christian Zionism on the political scene in America recognizing this ideology to be a major factor in the stalled peace process in Israel / Palestine.

We offer an alternative biblical view, one that we believe reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ, and God as a God of compassion and justice.

PROJECT STRAIT GATE calls Christ followers out of the Christian-Zionist churches and deflates the political support for the immorality that we call serial wars. Ours is a rescue operation to persons who call themselves by Christ's name, but who are unknowingly serving Satanic purposes. Project Strait Gate has confronted over 50 mega-church gatherings at their doorsteps, including ones involving Billy Graham, Jerry Falwell, John McArthur, Promise Keepers, and the giant Southern Baptist Convention.

That is not true.

For instance. Christians are in Iran. They openly celebrate Christmas. Of course the more the US and Israel blow up the Middle East the more Christians will be attacked.

It is one thing to be able to celebrate a holiday...

It is another to be sharing your faith or living it, with out official government crackdowns. check

Not really...

Been there. I'm not a Christian, btw. I do know persecution when I see it, however.

Despite the friendliness of the Israel tourist industry, the fact remains that all religious affairs of the state of Israel are controlled by the Chief Rabbinate in Jerusalem, who enforces the strictly orthodox point of view. The result is that, although Israel proclaims itself the only real democracy in the Middle East, in matters of religious liberty it is more inflexibly anti-Christian than even hardened Communist countries.

Check out the Religious Proselytizing laws in Israel.

It is not ~illegal~ to be a Christian in Israel... that is correct.

However, you break the law if you practice Christianity there.

Legalese vs Reality.

I notice our rather polite Zionist Christopher has yet to respond...

Go figure.

You just hit the heart of the problem!

The "strict Orthodox" are in Israel like the CFR is here! The political system is more of a power broker system than even our country is, and that really messes with a Christian's freedom of conscience. (I would like to see some evidence of torture or other extreme persecution that you can find in states like North Korea.. for evidence of such we may be able to find it at....)

And yes, they do have the information on the 2008 attack on a Messianic Jew's home which resulted in the serious injury of a young teenaged man. This attack was condemned by many Jewish groups in Israel and abroad, as well as by the Israeli government.

I agree. I am currently in

I agree. I am currently in Nicaragua working together with Christian Missionaries of nearly every denomination and I am informing them about the virtues of Ron Paul on a daily basis. I know that true Christians will recognize and respect truth when they here it, and Ron Paul speaks the truth. Christians and Constitutionalists have a lot in common they just need to get introduced to one another and 2012 will be the year of liberty. I hope that people on DP recognize this welcome and embrace their brothers in liberty.

I have to say that I commend you on your work!I did a similar thing one time with Olie North in Panama.
As you know the Bugs and Snakes were the greatest enemy in Central America!

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

Can we PLEASE drop the whole

Can we PLEASE drop the whole "Christianity" issue here? Jesus....... We are supposed to be promoting the FREEDOM for people to believe what they want and live how they want. That's it. I get incredibly weary of these posts who make these broad generalizations such as

"There is no doubt that Christianity and individual liberty were the primary philosophies that formed this nation and its constitution."

I agree about the individual liberty, but there is plenty of doubt about America being founded as a "Christian" nation. Most of the Founders were Deists, regardless of what the Christian right would like to beleive. Personally, I beleive that Christianity and most other religions are the enemies of true liberty, but I don't go around trying to convince everyone to believe what I do. If you want to be Christian, fine, I respect your decision... what I get so sick of is that most Christian "believers" are not content to be happy to be free to be/live how they want... there is this insatiable need to sell it to everyone else. I wonder... if it's so logical and the ONLY right way to believe, then why would they have to constantly try SO hard to convince everyone of that? I mean, noone has to be told that it's better to be free than to be a slave... it's obvious and noone who is sane would choose slavery over freedom. The "right" choice sells itself. Why then, if Christianity is the solution, not let it be a program of attraction rather than promotion? I'm just saying.....

Doc this is what

it is all about,Like I said we don't care how you drive your car, just drive it in the right direction!

51 out of 55 of the delegates

51 out of 55 of the delegates to the Constituional Convention were Christians.

The denominational affiliations of these men were a matter of public record. Among the delegates were 28 Episcopalians, 8 Presbyterians, 7 Congregationalists, 2 Lutherans, 2 Dutch Reformed, 2 Methodists, 2 Roman Catholics, 1 unknown, and only 3 deists--Williamson, Wilson, and Franklin--this at a time when church membership entailed a sworn public confession of biblical faith

This is a revealing tally. It shows that the members of the Constitutional Convention, the most influential group of men shaping the political foundations of our nation, were almost all Christians, 51 of 55--a full 93%. Indeed, 70% were Calvinists (the Episcopalians, Presbyterians, and the Dutch Reformed), considered by some to be the most extreme and dogmatic form of Christianity.

All that and not one mention of Jesus

Not one attempt to say Bible or a single scriptural reference.

With respect

For good reason,Is this a christian theology site?
Yes or No?

agreed

can you say hypocrisy?

So let me get this straight... you two above me want to promote freedom by limiting or dictating what subjects can be forum topics? Now that's funny! Can you say hypocrisy?

No

I never said limit by force or censure I said limit by personal choice.

I just posted this

on the other thread,Here's the deal guys,It really doesn't matter how you feel about religion.
What is important is the the goal of Freedom and Liberty.
We may not like how you are driving your car,It maybe reckless,But we do like the DIRECTION you are going!
Does that make sense ?

wake up.

The bible is YOUR holy book. The bible didn't invent "liberty". The bible has caused an incredible amount of bloodshed. It is a book. Period. The Founders of this country isolated the bible for a reason. They understood its history and the danger of using it to govern. Time for you to wake up.

you don't have a friggin

you don't have a friggin clue.

“Defiance of God’s Law will eventually bring havoc to a society.” - Dr. Ron Paul

Nah.

The whole killing people thing is pretty spot on.

And before you go on the whole stalin/atheists/etc. thing remember that people do not kill people out of lack of belief. That is a falsehood that is brought up whenever anyone talks about religion as a motivation for violence.

CHA-CHING!

You might find this little tid bit about how the separation of

power came about that produced the three branches of government.

At the Constitutional Convention of 1787, James Madison proposed the plan to divide the central government into three branches. He discovered this model of government from the Perfect Governor, as he read Isaiah 33:22;

“For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king"

WOW

Come on! That is dishonest and absurd. The idea of separation of powers was not practiced or instructed under Judaism. The idea goes back centuries. The OT even condemns Isreal for wanting a king.
The founders did not find some obscure scripture and build a doctrine on never mind a country.

So much for thou shall not lie applying to intellectual honesty.
Either God is those things or man is those things they both can not occupy the same position. If you submit that man(government) is those things you are guilty of idolatry.
