I started to read this article...and as I went on, it got more and more intense, and made more and more sense. I hate posting doom and gloom stuff, and I try to stay away from it and just be prepared, but this article is way to accurate to be pushed aside.

Thanks for posting this, it is a very important article. I was aware of most that was covered since I'm constantly reading up on all that type of info. This article is perfect for anyone who hasn't read up on these things nor has the time to read a lot of other research as it brings all the various issues together quite nicely.
The radio interview with the guy from shadowstats.com was very interesting to say the least. I knew that he was in to showing true stats for gov numbers, but never knew what he expects to be coming down the road. If he's right then we are in store for a very difficult future.

I think I posted this same article a week or 2 ago. No one seemed to care. I agree with everything this guy says except the peak oil stuff. I tend to side with Lindsey Williams when it comes to Oil. But this guy is saying the same thing as what Lindsey said in October. So far for 4 months, it is going as Lidsey said. No matter wether peak oil is real or not the system can not be fixed and has to collapse. Those who are not self sufficient and living in the cities are going to die. As harsh as that sounds, that is just the way it is. Either starvation, decease, or violence will kill many. I hope people prepare.. Seems like most on here do not read these type of posts, they are to busy debating avatar or whatever.. This is everyones most important project in life right now.

but I'm afraid that he's overly optimistic. I watched this http://www.collapsemovie.com/COLLAPSEMOVIE/ over the weekend. It's a must see.
The man being interviewed in the movie pointed out that we already hit the equilibrium point where constant growth ran headlong into diminishing resources causing collapse in 2008. Coupled with no new fundamental technological innovation to replace petroleum and petroleum byproducts (the base and lifeblood of our transportation, manufacturing, energy and food systems) this will lead to an unavoidable reduction in the global population.
It is good that you are getting prepared.

My BS Radar
was seriously going off during this doc. It felt shilly to me. It had a very propaganda feel. Tell them what they want to hear and then steer them in a different direction. In the end Michael Ruppert was discredited. He's about to be evicted??? Didn't sound too prepared to me.
Well, I got a similar feeling also
but the two graphs--the one on population growth and the one that showed the expansionary money supply hitting the diminishing resources--pretty much sold it for me. In the past, the human race was able to "grow" its way out of the problem through improvements in technology. Without an alternative--or alternatives--to replace petrochemicals, we as a species are in for a prolonged and painful downsizing.

I used my free trial with Netflix a few months back to watch the Jericho series after Chuck Baldwin highly recommended it. I'm considering to renew with Netflix at least for one month just to watch Collapse.
