There is overwhelming, undeniable evidence that the world will run out of food next year. When this happens, the resulting triple digit food inflation will lead panicking central banks around the world to dump their foreign reserves to appreciate their currencies and lower the cost of food imports, causing the collapse of the dollar, the treasury market, derivative markets, and the global financial system. food packaging has been

food packaging has been shrinking for some time now. I noticed it started with cereal.

I also noticed other products are going through similar packaging reductions. Cleaning products, soaps, shampoos and medications.

However, fast food sizes have gone through the roof. Huge drinks, french fries, ect.

Even bulk foods have increased in price.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed

on this board, but has anyone noticed that the sizes of food products has been decreasing while prices have remained the same or even increased a bit. Isn't this "sneaky" inflation? Most people I talk to haven't even noticed. Coffee used to be in 1 lb. cans. Now it's anywhere from 10 to 12 ounces. Sugar was in 5 lb bags, now it's 4 lbs. Potatoes were 5 and 10 lb. bags, now they're 4 and 8 lbs. This has been going on for a while now, but I haven't seen or heard it being discussed.

yes... my wife pointed that

yes... my wife pointed that out to me about 2 weeks ago when we were at the grocery store. I think it was orange juice? instead of 2 gallons, the containers were cut down to be 1.5 gallons but the price was the same.
