I love the judge.
I hope he runs for president someday.
"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul
Great stuff....
The Judge rocks my socks off.

Very Well Done
However, it should have been mentioned that Jefferson had no part in writing the Constitution, as he was the Ambassador to France at the time. By the time he returned to America, the Constitution had been written and adopted.
Jefferson did not like the Constitution--forseeing the eventual takeover by the Federal Government but it was a done deal. Hamilton, the NY Tory, was responsible for the Constitution. Patrick Henry was extremely vociferous in his denunciation of it and there were others who could validly prophecy the future path of the federal government.
The Constitution had defects within it that were the seeds of its own destruction. Jefferson thought that a Constitutional Convention should be held every generation (19 years). However, the requirements to hold a Constitution Convention are so restrictive (3/4 of the States must approve) that there never has been one held since the first one.

The Spam Filter just "flagged" my post
How is it possible -- I didn't curse and I was agreeing with the Judge here, hahahaha.
Seems a bit hair-trigger.
It's a shame too because the post is lost and I finally solved all world problems too.

I still don't understand why
I still don't understand why government needs to constantly keep writing new laws in a free society?
I think a free society should just follow one law:
Nobody is allowed to force or coerce someone to do anything against their will... And that includes the government.
A voluntary society is a free society.
You are right. That is the one law
the Supreme Court should uphold.
Greatest political document in the history of the world?
According to what judging criterion?
If the judging criterion is liberty, then I would say the Constitution fails miserably. It expanded political power (see here).
Myself, I would say the Declaration of Independence is much better. I don't know if it's the best tho...
Well you have to consider the real world results.
You couldn't just draw up what you think to be the greatest document, have nobody else agree with it, and nobody else use it, and still call it the greatest document.
It might be perfect, but if it has little to no effect or acceptance then it's not very great.
The Constitution is the greatest political document in the real sense that it resulted in the most prosperous and free society on Earth so far, and it is still active. That doesn't mean that it is anywhere near perfectly written, just the most effective so far.
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
OK
But I think it's wrong to call a political document great. I think greatness should be reserved to anti-political documents, maybe like Lysander Spooner's No Treason.

Great Judge
wish he and more like him were on the supreme court.

Judge,
you want to be our President or Vice-President??

Excellent!!
Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow
Too bad We the people have not constrained
the Federal government and all its unconstitutional acts.
I'm Reminded of the Biblical Quote
about lighting a candle in the darkness and then covering it with a basket, concealing its light.
FoxNews has one bright defender of the entire Constitution in its largely rightist lineup, yet he is still largely shielded from the television audience. If I were a CNN exec, I'd be watching very carefully, waiting for Napolitano to become available.
"...If
he(POTUS)keeps us safe, but not free, he's not doing his job..."
Well said, Judge...

Liberty for dumbies
The Judge did a fine job starting with the source of our rights, historical settings and applications from our colonial foundation to modern times.
In less than 20 minutes, you too can gain a broader and deeper appreciation for the U.S. Constitution than what there appears to be among the majority of those who have sworn to uphold and defend it, against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic!
"At a time like this, scorching irony, not convincing argument, is needed. O! had I the ability, and could reach the nation's ear, I would, to-day, pour out a fiery stream of biting ridicule, blasting reproach, withering sarcasm, and stern rebuke. For it is not light that is needed, but fire; it is not the gentle shower, but thunder. We need the storm, the whirlwind, and the earthquake. The feeling of the nation must be quickened; the conscience of the nation must be roused; the propriety of the nation must be startled; the hypocrisy of the nation must be exposed; and its crimes against God and man must be proclaimed and denounced."
Frederick Douglass
For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it. - Patrick Henry

"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."
That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.
I think this is the series is scheduled to be played
on Fox and Friends, throughout the week. Or next week. Not sure.
"“Censorship” is a term pertaining only to governmental action. No private action is censorship. No private individual or agency can silence a man or suppress a publication; only the government can do so." -Ayn Rand
I will say this
Of course most of us here are advanced in our understanding of the country and it's foundation but this is a great video to post to facebooks and email to the apathetic, ignorant and constitutional perverse.
It is necessary to use basics to get folks to understand where we are coming from when we talk of sound money, personal liberty and private property. It will also help explain what is meant by limited government.
I love the hook at the end:
"The Presidents job is not to keep us safe but to keep us free"
