Much stronger language than usual?
The exasperation comes through in that speech - and he appears to be using stronger language than usual.
If only it were a bad dream. The great deception is all part of the deliberate creep of communism - as Russian defector Golitsyn said.
And how right he is. A Russian oligarch (ex Duma) who owns one of our major newspapers, wants to buy yet another! We're being taken over, bit by bit.

I believe he is referring to the Continental Congress 2009 in a
not so subtle way here.
Keep in mind he med with Bob Schulz a week before the CC 2009 convened. Dr. Paul was very, very supportive of this. Reiterated that yes, 5% of the entire population will move the society. Once 15 million Americans signed the pledge, he too would sign on and take it up!
He is warning all those in government that there is still time to restore the republic if they so choose, but if they refuse to take heed, the masses are gathering little by little each day. (just plug in CC2009 in google 1,940,000 hits. The other day it was just at 974,000!)
Pretty soon this will reach a critical mass and when that happens...oh boy. All those that own a share in the Federal Reserve will be indicted for sure.
Beware to all those who have committed treason against the people with smirks, deceit and contempt.
We are coming for all of you traitors soon! And when you are arrested by the Sheriff, it will be judicial and legal when we do so.
The Articles of Freedom are now a public document. That is what all Americans shall point to for your indictment. All shall be clear as day.

Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul, laying down some DefPoetry Jam goodness, I could almost see this being read in some 1953 beatnik meetup, filled with cigar smoke, fine burlesque gals (though our Good Doctor may stay away from that bit), John Coltrane transported 10yrs earlier, introducing BeBop to the awakening generation, playing it in the backgrounds, as the Bard speaks...
The Gentleman, knows no bounds, when it comes to courage. Plus, an utter lyrical surprise! What beautiful poetry! Words of wisdom, truly. His best speech, yet.
Indeed, he is MY PRESIDENT. Heck, along with myself and family, some 547 people wrote in his name in my small district of some 40,000 people!
How can we not keep on supporting him?
Though, I think this is a clarion call of sorts, and a subtle "Dropping of the Gauntlet," against the NWO. As if to say 'we're still going to be peaceful, and will always be our aim and method to win the intellectual fight and hearts & minds. However, do not be surprised, if some of the citizenry that YOU [NWO] pushed to the brink, desperation and destitute, do not respond as most of us will choose to do, which is to resort to civil and peaceful discourse.'
I believe we're living in a Universe of Reciprocity, as the Golden Rule: "Do unto others, as you would like to have done unto you." One truly reaps what he/she sows. And what NWO has been sowing is a field of murder, death, slavery, mayhem and utter tyranny. Soon their own members would find themselves consumed by their own ghastly social-engineered mess, with no where left to go. Uruguay, Cook Islands, or some armed compound in Costa Rica will not help them.
Growing up, I always assumed the rich and powerful deemed it in their own best selfish interest, to NOT to ruin the goose, and piss off the masses, as they are but a few, We the FREE HUMANITY, are a many. Seems like common sense, but as we have seen throughout history, intelligence and evil are NOT mutually exclusive. Whether they are still deluding themselves in thinking they have NOT lost control, like over Hitler, with this current intentionally engineered financial collapse, is irrelevant. They should have learned from their own predecessors that absolute power does indeed corrupt absolutely, and there will be blowbacks. Nor does utter ghastly arrogance bode well for them either.
It remains to be seen whether these NWO goons will heed the Doctor's warning. But let it not be said, 'we didn't warn ya' is the gist of the message I'm sensing.

Imagine just how absolutely wonderful our country will be like when our Republic is restored to Constitutional law?
The sky will not even be the limit to the creativity that is unleashed for the benefit of all to partake. Free markets without hindrance and manipulations. Engineers, scientists who finally get to learn the 'new' quantum physics and put it to use for all to benefit. Medicine is wholistic. Manufacturing will simply be full to bursting. Honest pay for honest work brings great abundance to all. Philosophy of freedom reigns supreme. Trade with all, allies with none!

One of the biggest obsurditities of the communist regimes,is to kill off the middle class, the very bastion of inventiveness, education and discipline with a conscious. In Vietnam, Bagdad etc, the libraries are burned,all infrastructure is crashed, and tne nozzle of a gun capitulates into tyranny and oppression.
Like a barnyard of aminmals awaiting slaughter, or a work camp. Obama is doing this with massive build up of rascism. OBAMA IS THE BIGGIST RACIST OF THEM ALL.

I don't understand why the background of the house (Congress) is often quite empty when Ron Paul speaks???? What is the nature of that? How grossly rude and falsely elected if that is the nature of conduct in Congress.
This happens often
The late Henry Gonzalez (D-TX) used to give similar speeches to an empty chamber.
The House reserves time
The House reserves time periodically for a session where any member who wishes to do so has a few minutes to speak to the cameras and into the record. During this time nothing else can go on. So the bulk of the house members are off doing other things.
There are a LOT of house members. So each doesn't get much face and speech time when they are actually speaking on the bills to the other members during legislative sessions.

I love Ron Paul, and have
I love Ron Paul, and have never felt so strongly about any politician I've ever known or listened to. We supported him in 2008 and attended his Revolution March in D.C. It was wonderful to hear him because he is truly a man of peace and principles.
I will be dismissed by what I say next, as I have been dismissed on other Libertarian sites, but I must say it. I truly believe people drink the koolaid of what they are fed and do not see, or hear, candidates for what they really say. My gut was right about Obama being pro-war, but the left dismissed this-- just as the libertarian right now sees Sarah Palin as antiwar. Just like the koolaid the left drank prior to the election, many on the libertarian right are seeing the "glossy" exterior and charisma of a candidate without hearing her words or seeing this person for who she is, and what she represents.
imho, there is no candidate more hawkish than Palin. For goodness sakes she even said she would attack Russia if they invaded Georgia.
Right now I am just really depressed because we are murdering innocents and creating more terrorists with my tax money...and yet off in the horizon in 2012 it seems most likely that this country will vote in the worst hawk of them all.

I guess that just goes to show how disconnected Palin is to what actually goes on. It was not Russia that invaded Georgia but rather Russia defended people within Georgia from their own government. The region that was attacked by Georgia declared independence maybe a decade ago as (if I'm remembering correctly) The Republic of South Ossetia. They are not recognized internationally, so Georgia still considers them a part of Georgia.
Georgia invaded South Ossetia & attacked the people there. Russia moved in to defend the people of South Ossetia from Georgia.
This is my understanding after spending significant time reading and learning about the conflict there back when it happened.
Yet, despite all that, both our media and government were claiming that Russia was attacking Georgia. I suppose defending people from being attacked by their own government is considered to be an invasion. If that's the case, we must have invaded Yuguslavia back in the 90s when we were protecting their people from their own government.
