The Road to Yorktown

Taking note of the massive donation levels reached by the Schiff and Paul campaigns, one can easily lose perspective when comparing to totals raised by less spotlighted races. But we must remember that each race nets only one vote and each vote is just as valuable to the cause of Liberty regardless of its monetary cost.

It was recently said of my campaign on one of the forums that while my message was pure it was disheartening that I have not raised more. However, let us put the totals into perspective. With only $34,000 raised we have put the incumbent on the ropes and reduced his poll numbers to fewer than 50% and opened the undecided vote up to 25%. This is an incredible feat considering his near eight-year incumbency. These numbers only represent likely Republican primary voters. We expect all inactive Republican voters to break for the challenger, me, given the electorate's anger at bailout voting incumbents regardless of party.
We have built a solid constituency and we have only open sky above us. We have received much positive press of late in-district. More importantly, the message of freedom, individual Liberty and state Sovereignty is resonating well with the heavily conservative electorate of Oklahoma's 4th District. What all this means is that the neo-con in my race is entirely beatable and all it takes to win is enough funding to continue disseminating our message. Given the weakness of the incumbent and the unassailable strength of the message, we have calculated that it will take $150,000 to $200,000 to win Oklahoma's 4th District back from the neo-cons. With over six months left till the primary, raising this amount and winning this seat is entirely possible; with your help.

To those of you that have already given generously to my campaign I sincerely thank you on behalf of the struggling Republic. To those of you still watching and hoping for that "one big win" I remind you that Washington could not have beaten the British at Yorktown if he had not first won much smaller engagements at Trenton and Cow Pens. Every battle counts towards the tally for victory and in the great battle of our age the tally is counted in Congressional votes. Thus has the ground and weapons been chosen between the champions of Liberty and Tyranny and the Second American Revolution is already underway. Yet victory can only be achieved by the action of Patriots, not the hopes of spectators.
