Lightbulb: The elites have trained the WHOLE population to be submissive.
A light went on today...
Historically, leaders whipped up their people's support for foreign conquests by promises of glory and riches.
IF this was a few hundred or a few thousand years ago, the US and British governments (etc) would get popular support for their invasions of the Middle East by handing out land, power and booty.
I say Basic Human Nature has not changed. Instead We all have been trained. All the populace is submissive:
The ones who support the war are mostly making excuses about being there, such as "we are really helping them " or "we are fighting terror." No battle cries from them to conquer and destroy. (result = impotency )
The anti war folks are all very submissive as evidenced by No Revolution yet and relatively polite and timid Protests, in comparison say to great revolutions of the past. (result = impotency )
The ELITES have won. No one goes against their wishes.

Violence agaisnt the elite is pointless.
They hold all the weapons and all the money. What we need to withhold is our consent and agreement. A r3volution of attitude backed with principle.
Forty year old interview.

The antiwar movement so-called is saying they do not consent to war. And point out is folly, nay meanness and cruelty to those on both sides.

It hasn't caught on, except people thought they were voting agaisnt Bush's war only to find they were voting for Oboma's war.
And he spells his name with a capital O

You have a point there...about the submissive bit.
Read my post here and see the excuses people make for not getting involved in what may be our last peaceful chance to take back our country:

From so many comments here, there is a sense of either 'overwhelm' or cynicism. So many people lack 'vision' and the 'spirit' that goes with vision is simply not there.
They like to see it in others but in themselves for the most part it is lacking.
This is where I strongly encourage people to develop their inner 'vision' and trust when you desire something so much you can taste it, you know you're gonna make it happen no matter what, no matter how many times you get blocked, or set back, you continue on pushing, pushing and doing the right things to increase the odds of success.
If we all did this together across the nation we would get our country back for sure come hell or high water we would. But the 'will' and spirit of the people must be there or surely we will be doomed and so be it.
The key though if they only knew, is that each and every one of us are 'sovereigns'.
When you are sovereign, you act like a sovereign, you fear no death because death is just a change.
We come back time and time again to continue the good work that we started in the last life.
That is where bravery, courage, and determination plays a huge part. That used to be the 'spirit of America'. It is badly in need of a Renaissance for sure if we are to make any headway against all odds.
Once this spirit is ignited to full flame we will have our country back hands down.
People deserve
People deserve the government they get.

I would like to point out a
I would like to point out a couple of errors in your post.
First of all, human nature is to be submissive and led. This is because most people trust other people's opinion more than they trust their own. Most people are more interested in what someone else thinks. A small percentage of people prefer to evaluate for themselves. And a small percentage of that group takes advantage of the general passivity of the majority. They manipulate the herd for their own benefit. Some of these people become con-artists. And some go into politics.
For those of us who don't wish to have others think for us, nor wish to manipulate others, we can either go about our own business, or we can try to do the right thing.
And what is the right thing? A Latin phrase comes to mind: noblesse oblige, we have an obligation to educate the herd, even if we are ridiculed for out efforts.
The idea that we should rise up in revolt is foolishness. It is the attempt at an easy solution. And there is no easy solution to our situation.
Anyone who decided to get involved in violent or illegal activities would be setting themselves up. The very people we oppose would then have an excuse to further destroy our rapidly diminishing freedoms. In fact, that is exactly what our opponents would like to have happen, and something that they help bring about.
The only solution is education. We need to educate the general public about the situation, and expose those who are robbing and enslaving them. It is not too late. We are still able to inform others. Our opponents would like to make this illegal. They are anxious to get control of the Internet.
Education is the key. We have the moral high ground. We are acting within the law. Our opponents are not. They violate the oath they took to support and defend our Constitution. They are criminals and they know it. We need to make sure more and more people realize it too.
Greg, are you a supporter of Continental Congress 2009?
If so, can you say a few things to others about why you think it is important?
If Not, could you please explain why you think this is not viable?
i agree with this post
i agree with this post definitely.
although there are little discrepancies in peoples' beliefs outside of the liberty-scale, we should all educate people on what their rights are given by the Constitution and how the government in place is stifling those rights.
and, not to be a sour-puss or anything, this is just based on your reply to the first post. I'm learning about HAARP, and it seems like by the time the minority [us] becomes a majority they'll just throw a tornado at us, literally. to bring up HAARP, not in an educational standpoint, but a "there's inevitable disaster afoot" standpoint, in my opinion, is...wack? sorry I'm not good with words, but it seems like it can be an argument-stopper...sorry, I might just be going off on a tangent right now too, heh.
HAARP is the unknown, I did not mean ...
it to be taken in the strictly literal sense.
For instance, 9/11 was the unknown until it happened.
There is plenty of potential for events by which powers that be can seize control of the population.
I expect such surprises but I hope you are right and that such an event is not inevitable.

a very good thought provoking post ...
I still believe we each need to have a plan B.
You are right, humans generally are followers and for the most part they are following the Elite down one of "the" garden paths. There is nothing random about it.
I did use the word "revolution" a too carelessly but the changes happening to our society are extreme.
I go back and forth on public demonstration. It is a sign of strength when tens and hundreds of thousands take to the streets to shut down business, as farmers in Europe for example, who demand to be heard saying, we are here and we grow your food. North Americans rarely if ever show the courage to display their righeous disagreement with government. We are afraid of what will happen to us. BTW There is nothing illegal about a public demonstration.
I have spent my adult life working with and against the law to protect the vulnerable and let be known my beliefs about the importance of freedom. Then sweeping laws are passed which remove freedoms overnight.
I am frustrated.
I don't think we have time to sway public opinion before our most important freedoms are lost.
cw
Nah, we're just getting started.
Look around, the liberty movement is growing fast, the internet is helping bring truth to the people of the world; more and more the elite's propaganda is being exposed as in the swine flu debacle and the global warming hysteria.
It takes time for the vast pendulum of public opinion to swing, but hold tight, it's starting to move!
Yes but all it takes is a disaster
to put sweeping physical controls into place.
What has been done? People agree with the ideas of liberty. They enter political races, our inspirational leaders are getting a voice in media but what would each of us do if Haiti happens here tomorrow and thousands of international troops take over the airports, the streets, set up curfews and control access to all the food and water supplies?
How do we maintain contact with like mindeed folk and protect one another?
I am slowly establishing myself parttime in a rural place with friends nearby but its not a full time alternative yet. There is no underground to connect to.
I would not expect people to publish details of any underground online. I hope people establish Pockets of liberty which don't rely on electronic communications.
Just sayin...Haarp is out there.
