Curious as to how many liberty lovers here on the Paul watch the show 24?
I watched it a few times years ago, it felt like Faux news... be in fear, they are out to get you and govt must save you at any cost.
I think I watched 3 episodes and turned it off as I felt the purpose was to condition me. Ok, most tv shows have an ageanda, I know... but to me this one is different.
Any comments?

Kiefer Sutherland lost all of his credibilty with me.
With his nicotine and alcohol issues as well as assaulting people, I lost my interest in him.
I look at the show from the perspective of 'the enemy from within.' How an organization could be so inept to have one double-agent after another infiltrate is incredible, or is it more realistic then we think? Are there any 007s left out there, or is there now only one world-wide organization?
Why are you worrying about embracing a TV show,

it's TV. Entertainment is only for your enjoyment. I guarantee most TV shows are not here to condition you, only to make money and get you hooked so they can bilk advertising money, that's it. You don't have to have a political stand on the content of your amusement.

On the show do they ever use torture when it doens't produce good results (save lives etc)
Our nonchalant attitude towards torture is troubling. How would people answer the question, "Does torture usually produce good results?" I say no to torture.

I have always boycotted the show.
Not hard since I watch little television. It promotes torture for "good". Too bad since until taking the job on 24 I always respected Kiefer Sutherland. Lost is another show promoting torture.
