Ron Paul: "We need to take out the CIA!"

Excerpt from the Campaign for Liberty Regional Conference in Atlanta, GA. As the crowd begins to cheer, Ron Paul states, "We need to take out the CIA!"

There's been a coup - have you heard? It's the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything! They run the military .. and they're every bit as secretive as the Federal Reserve. And yet, think of the harm they have done since they were established at the end of World War II. They are a government unto themselves. They're in businesses, in drug businesses, they take out dictators... We need to take out the CIA!

I was there... this was a very exciting speech, and when he got to this part everyone rose to their feet and applauded loudly. Great event this weekend.

Nice!

It looks like the clapping began after he said the CIA runs drug businesses...so true, but I'm shocked he came right out and said that!

Does anyone else think that Obama's EO for Interpol may

allow them to arrest CIA people? Just a thought...

The Liberty a society retains is inversely proportional to the number of Lawyers in the Government.

Obama's EO is a continuing thing

Originally signed by Reagan and re-signed by Clinton, now Obama. And no. The CIA is not a law-enforcement agency. They can kill you if they decide to without recourse, so they tend not to worry about not having the power of arrest. Plus with over 1000 agents in each state, they own the police and can have you arrested if for some reason they decide you should live.

Probably end up with something much worse... and international

Ron Paul is in. Let all patriots jump in and pledge our lives and fortunes!

May God bless America and her patriots.

This video of Les Miserables' One Day More inspires me. The spirit of Freedom comes through so powerfully, as it does through the whole musical.

It's quite astonishing that anybody other than true patriots can apply this message of Liberty to socialistic aims, as I've heard Clinton's campaign did the day before his first election.

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

Oh boy.

Usually the C.I.A. doesn’t take kindly to insults from influential people. I will keep RP and his family in my prayers.

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

I too worry about Ron Paul's

I too worry about Ron Paul's safety. JFK's assassination is a case model for just what fate may await the elected official who dares serve the interest of his people and nation instead of the secret government within.

They won't take him out

They won't take him out unless they perceives him as a real threat to thier power. JFK was in a position to dismantle them, Ron Paul is not they will just keep labeling him as an extremist and a kook.

Remember what JFK said about the CIA...

"I will splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces."

Two years later he was dead.

Of course, let's not forget that JFK also issued new currency to compete with Federal Reserve Notes. They were called "United States Notes" and were backed by silver.

You can still see a few in circulation today though it is rare.

So these 2 organizations, the CIA and the FED are the untouchables and I would fear for Dr. Paul's safety if he ever really got close to the presidential office.

A t-shirt I saw at the Rally for the Republic in Minneapolis in sept 2008 said it all; "Ron Paul's got balls!"

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

I have a $5 Silver Certificate. Found it in mychange one day.

Has a red instead of green seal.

Free includes debt-free!

Wasn't "We gotta take out the CIA" one of the last things JFK

said? Hope he's extra careful if he's going to go after them too.

Wow

Strong words, even for Ron!

This is the kind of stuff that keeps me going...

Timely article in regards to this thread

found on LewRockwell.com. Long, complex and convoluted, but you will get the idea of what kind of troubles covert operations lead to. You may even be shocked by which other groups/organizations are involved. I was.
